Ms. Catten

Hello! My name is Ms. Catten, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I can’t wait to learn all about you, but for now here is a little bit about me!

I was born in Salt Lake City and grew up here! I went to university for my Bachelors Degree at Utah State University and I got my Masters Degree from Strayer University. I am married and have a son named Malcolm.  I have two younger brothers, and a dog-- Pascal. 

I am so looking forward to this year and all the amazing things we will learn! Not only will we all become better readers, but we will be learning about communities, life cycles, earth and space, and citizenship. We will also be practicing numbers to 120, addition under 20, and word problems. There is so much to learn and I can’t wait to start this school year!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Sra Catten, y estoy muy contento de ser su profesora para este año!  No puedo esperar para aprender todo acerca de ti, pero por ahora aquí es un poco acerca de mí!

¡Nací en Salt Lake City y crecí aquí! Fui a la universidad para obtener mi licenciatura en la Universidad Estatal de Utah y obtuve mi maestría en la Universidad Strayer. Estoy casado y tengo un hijo recién nacido llamado Malcolm. Tengo dos hermanos menores y un perro: Pascal.

Estoy deseando ir este año y todas las cosas increíbles vamos a aprender! No sólo vamos a todos a ser mejores lectores, pero vamos a aprender acerca de las comunidades, los ciclos de vida, la tierra y el espacio, y la ciudadanía. También estaremos practicando los números a 120, además de menores de 20 años, y los problemas planteados. Hay mucho que aprender y no puedo esperar para comenzar este año escolar!
