About Department

In government PG College Ranikhet, the Music Department was established in 1973.The Indian classical Music vocal classes in under graduate stage are operative right from the establishment of the department. From 2017 the Post graduate classes in vocal were started in the department. There are 03 faculty members in the Music department. The teachers of the department are working hard for the development of the department. The students are regularly participating in the regional youth festivals and also in different cultural activities organized in college and elsewhere. Many of them have been duly rewarded in these activities. The students of the department are given a proper training in practical as well as in theory.
