Swargiya Shri Jai Dutt Waila Swatntarta Sangram Senani Government PG College Ranikhet Almora came into existence in 1973. Surrounded by the lush green forests and mesmerizing scenic view of Trishul Mountain Range, and Panchachuli, it is one of the favorites destination for the tourists. The local inhabitants are equipped with the good physique. By far the climate is concerned, Ranikhet has a beautiful summer as well as winters. The climate of Ranikhet, is very much favorable for various sports activities. The College has more than a dozen sports teams: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Sepaktakraw, Drop Ro-ball, Mini Golf, Karate, Cross country, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Football and yoga as part of curriculum which offers enough flexibility to trainees. The College has a gymnasium to cater to the needs of students wanting to engage in cardio-vascular workouts.
