About

Library of Government Polytechnic, Godhra is situated at Admin building in college campus having 694 square meter area. The Library is well equipped & computerised. Library is enriched with a large collection of learning resources like reference books, handbooks, dictionaries, general study materials, Indian Standard ,Books from University Granth Nirman Board etc. There is also an e-corner section facilitating five computer systems to access internet for learning & reading resources. Online e-books and e-journals can be accessed through relevant QR codes and links respectively.

Key Features of Library

• The library has a very good collection of books and IS codes. Currently, the Library has a total of 14910 books and subscribes 35 Journals.

• The library is providing a reading room facility with the issue of text/reference books.

• Two library tickets issued per Student and the Time duration for renewal/Return is 15 days

• Students are allowed to use the library and library resources from the first day of their Academic term.

• The library has an Internet Wi-Fi connection facility.

Library remains functional on working days during 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Availability of E-resources

Availability of E-Resources: Electronic Resources have revolutionized the whole concept of the traditional library. Maximum weightage is being given to accessibility and appropriate use of information. E-journals’ availability on the internet has brought a number of advantages like interactive searching, availability throughout 24 hours, 365 days and availability of information in ‘prior print form’ for both the libraries and the user community. Library provides information about useful free E-resources to the students to enrich their knowledge. Students are also informed to register in National Digital Library also.
