To Promote Awareness about Thalassemia and its prevention,we successfully conducted a Thalassemia camp at our campus Auditorium hall.The initiative aimed to educate indivivduals about the genetic disorder and encourage early testing to mitigate its impact.
Highlights of the Camp:-
Over 196 students were tested for Thalassemia traits,ensuring early identification and awareness.
Experts provided detailed insights into Thalassemia, its causes, symptoms, and the importance of genetic counselling.
Information Brochures and posters were distributed to spread knowledge about Thalassemia and its impact on families.

Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 (Theme:-Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskar Swachhata)

To Offer Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi,2nd October is observed as Swachh Bharat Diwas. As a Prelude to that, to strengthen voluntarism and collective action for Swachh Bharat, a fortnight of "Swachhata hi Seva"(SHS) has been observed since 2017. To Mobilize widespread citizen action & ownership of Swachhata. On 1st October 2024 Government Polytechnic Godhra NSS Unit Organised "Collection of Single use Plastic" from our Campus in which Students were wearing My Bharat White Cap. In Addition to that NSS Unit & GP Godhra "Swachhata Hi Seva" Comittee also organised various Competitions like Essay Competition, Drawing Competition, Rangoli Competition & Oath On Cleanliness.
Veer Bal Diwas is observed to Honour the supreme sacrifice of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singhji,10th Sikh Guru. The day marks the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh & Sahibzada Fateh Singh as well as the younger sons of Guru GobindSingh Ji, who were bricked alive by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for refusing to convert toIslam. Their bravery, resilience, and commitment to their faith are remembered on this day NSS Unit GP Godhra organised Essay Competition on the topic of Veer Bal Diwas.
