A follow-up to Question #1: “What is included in the annual racing license?

**Free Birthday race may be used within 1 week of your birth date or 1 week after - 1 per customer per calendar year and ID required. (Requires a current membership and a race package purchase within the last 365 days. If this is your first-ever visit to a K1 Speed, you can redeem the free birthday race after purchase of our membership and a race package.)
Question #2: How old do you have to be to race at K1 Speed?
No age requirement, only a height requirement. A driver must be a minimum of
4’ (48”) to race in our junior karts and a
Minimum of 4’10” (58”) to race in our adult-sized karts.
We do not mix junior and adults on the track at the same time, so juniors race with juniors, and adults race with adults.
Follow-up to Question #2: Can my child race with me if they don’t reach the minimum height?
Due to safety, if the child does not reach the minimum height of 48”, they are not able to participate, as we only have single seater karts.
Question #4: Can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation for a minimum group of 8 drivers.
Reservation for less than 8 drivers will need to pay for 8 slots. This usually can be accommodated during weekdays and a slim chance on a weekend. There is also no same day reservation.
You may go online to book a reservation and fill in our "Booking Form"
**If customers submitted a reservation request online, it will take 48-72 hours before one of our Sales reps to reach out them via call or email. Advise customers to check their spam folder and voicemail.
Question #5: How long is a race?
On average, a standard race has 12 laps, which takes about 8-10 minutes to complete.
Question #6: How fast do your karts go?
Our karts are all-electric and can go up to 40-45 miles per hour for the adult karts, and the junior karts can go up to 20-25 miles per hour.
Question #7: Waiver ?
Minors need someone over the age of 18 to sign the waiver and it doesn't have to be the actual parent or guardian. It can be between siblings or even friends and of course whoever signs the waiver would be the guardian if anything happens on the track to them and we aren't liable.
