The 2011 paper "The coming of the Greeks to Provence and Corsica" identifies a possible correlation between areas where the Greeks colonized the western Mediterranean and frequencies of Haplogroup E-V13 in those areas as opposed to similar areas not heavily colonized. A) If G-M406 can also be associated with Greek colonization, or at least Western Anatolian Greek colonization, one would expect to find elevated G-M406 frequency in areas with an elevated presence of E-V13. B) In addition, might the ratio of E-V13 frequency to G-M406 frequency be fairly consistent in areas colonized by Western Anatolian Greeks?
