What is the Global Ministry Campaign Project:
Currently all our ministry centers around the world are creating inspiring and impactful campaigns to reach out to young families to encourage them to pray together. We will continue those efforts and the many ways we deliver our programs; however, several times a year, we would like to collaborate on One Global Prayer Campaign!
Presently there is some regional coordination but for the most part each center operates independently. It’s fascinating to observe that many ministry centers have followers around the world. Gone are the days that each center only serves local families. We all serve many families in many locations. Now, imagine developing themes to unite our efforts in person and on websites and social platforms blanketing the globe with our creative, meaningful messages. That is what this new initiative will do for us and for the families we serve. We will increase the many opportunities available to encounter these families wherever they are in the digital world and in real life.
We think these campaigns will accomplish many objectives. First, consistent impactful messaging around the globe will increase outreach and engagement. Second, the families we serve and our partners in ministry will better understand the reach of our mission and the unity among our ministries and ministry centers.
Annually we will offer five major campaigns and ten minor campaigns. A major campaign will be a program that we execute over several weeks, for example, Advent, Lent, etc. A minor campaign will be a program that we deliver over one to three days, for example, Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows or Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I’ve attached our annual calendar for these campaigns so you can know what to expect.
We launch this new project with the Month of the Rosary. This year we will celebrate the Month of the Rosary in a fresh, innovative way, honoring the Year of St. Joseph.
Our president, Father Willy Raymond, C.S.C., shares the following message:
Month of the Rosary
Through the Eyes of St. Joseph
“Joseph is the true miracle chosen by God to save the child and mother with creative courage. Joseph is rightly called the Mainstay of the Family and Protector of the Universal Church.”
Pope Francis, Patris Corde
Pope Francis offered the faithful his Apostolic Letter, Patris Corde (With a Father’s Heart.) to enlighten us during this special year of Saint Joseph.
This October, the Month of the Rosary, “Go to Joseph.” Grow in the faith with your family. “Be about the Father’s business.” (Luke 2:41-52)
Joseph is our inspiration throughout the month of October, we will be reflecting, praying, and encountering The Mysteries of the Rosary through the eyes of St. Joseph.
We will be sharing resources each day on all of our social media platforms and hope you will join us.
With all of the various struggles facing families today, where does the family turn for support, guidance, and help? Let’s go to the person God Himself chose to be the protector and guardian of the Holy Family and of the great family of the Church. “Go to Joseph.” God always finds a way to save us provided we show the same creative courage as Joseph did.
Joseph, a model of discernment, is attentive to the Word of God. (The Annunciation)
Joseph, a model of chastity and freedom, is free from possessiveness. (The Visitation)
Joseph, a model of fatherhood, is chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus. (The Birth of Our Lord)
Joseph, a model of obedience, follows God’s plan. (The Presentation in the Temple)
Joseph, a model of fortitude, is a mainstay of the family and guardian of the Universal Church. (The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple)
Let's go to Joseph together this month, as our model and inspiration. Please join us.
Join us for this special time of prayer with a wealth of resources for families as we celebrate the Month of the Rosary and the Year of St. Joseph.
“A world at prayer is a world at peace.”
