At Our Lady of Pentecost Parish (OLPP), the Family Rosary Crusade (FRC) Unit launched a monthly program to nurture spiritual confidence among youth from marginalized communities. Since most parish prayer events are conducted in English, this initiative helps young people learn and lead the Rosary in English, equipping them to participate fully and even take leadership roles.
Held every third Sunday, the two-hour sessions blend prayer, reflection, and fellowship. Before each mystery, a participant shares a personal insight. One young girl, reflecting on the Visitation, was inspired by Mary’s selfless journey to Elizabeth and resolved to be more present for others, even when busy reminding everyone that simple kindness can be deeply healing.
The August session ended with Father Terence Abranches, C.S.C and Father Jimmy Matthew, C.S.C. imposing rosary scapulars on each participant, a powerful sign of their growing devotion. This program is fostering inclusion, leadership, and deeper faith among the parish youth.
