Sister Patricia Crane, C.S.C., began her ministry in Family Rosary in 2016 as the National Director.
Mexico Team
Since she began serving with Family Rosary Mexico, Sister Pat worked diligently and tirelessly, First of all, she learned the ropes of Family Rosary ministry. She had a clear vision to serve the families in Mexico as well as she could, with her ministry team. She always made time to talk with the team members about their families and make sure everybody was fine.
Following the strategic plan proposed by Holy Cross Family Ministries, she worked to promote Family Rosary not just locally, but nationally. In 2019 she was proud to have winners for the “Try Prayer” Contest from different states like, Mérida, Yucatán; Miguel Alemán, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, and Monterrey, Nuevo León. In May, the same year, she and three others from the team, traveled to Mérida, Yucatán, to participate in a Rosary Rally where she met with Mother Myriam, a religious sister who had worked with Father Peyton when he came to Mexico.
Finance accounting and budgets did not come easy to her; however, in order to produce an accurate financial report, she developed her own catalog with codes to facilitate a comprehensive accounting of the income, other revenue and expenses for the mission. The catalog of codes is now used globally in all HCFM ministry centers.
During her time in Family Rosary, she had the opportunity to attend a Director´s Meeting in France where she lead a prayer to Mary and enjoyed the rich French cuisine from many of the regions of France.
In the year of 2020, she and the entire team of Family Rosary attended a Latin American meeting, which took place in Peru. She was happy to visit Peru again, where she had spent many years doing ministry as a Sister of the Holy Cross.
Though she was sick with cancer and in treatment, she never stopped working with much hope, love and enthusiasm. Sister Patricia Mary Crane, C.S.C., died on June 20, 2020. May she rest in peace.

Though she is already in heaven, she is often remembered in Family Rosary and I am sure she is guiding us to continue the mission begun by Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C.
