Dr. Elizabeth DeVos is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of Global Health Education Programs at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. In this lecture, Dr. DeVos discusses the epidemiology of vector borne diseases seen in the US, recognition and treatment of tropical diseases that may be seen in US emergency departments, indications for consult and admission, and reporting requirements.
