Interrogation/In-Game Punishment Rules & Guide
Introduction
This is the Interrogation and punishment rules & an guide that will help you understand how to succesfully interrogate while not breaking any rules!
Logging Ethical Violations & Interrogations
After an interrogation of either an ethical violtion or a normal interrogation you must log it in the #d5-ethic-logs channel in discord.
Welcome to the Code of Ethics Violations and Interrogation Logging System; This channel will be mainly used for tracking those who are breaking the code of ethics and making sure that all parties are rightly held to the highest degree. Anyone from RCT to CMDR in Delta-5 can make a log in this channel, however this will be mostly for IAA and Gamma-9 to use unless there isn't anyone on to interrogate personnel. EVERY INTERROGATION AND ETHICAL VIOLATION MUST BE LOGGED HERE NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE OR WHO THE ETHICAL VIOLATOR IS; THIS WILL ALSO COUNT TOWARDS ACTIVITY WITHIN DELTA-5. You must also use the Code Of Ethics guidelines to properly give punishments (In-Game) to the violator. All punishments outside (Verbals, Warns, Strikes, ETC....) will be dealt with by Branch Command at their own discretion. Only use this channel when logging interrogations and ethical violators. You shall not use this channel to submit general activity to bypass the activity log cooldowns. You will be punished accordingly if you submit fake interrogation logs or do anything that is deemed unprofessional to Delta-5's duties and goals to the foundation.
To Those Who Are Dedicated To The Foundation's Stability And Prosperity
Welcome to all foundation branch command to the Code Of Ethics Violation and Interrogation Logging System; This channel is specifically built not to only our needs, but to your own as well as there are those who seem to think that they can just break the rules whenever possible. Well this ends now as you will be able to track and see those who break the code of ethics often without regard. You will be able to give out punishments under your own discretion as we are here to help sniff out those who like to break the rules and to make your lives a little bit easier. you will have access to view this channel but will not have access to text within here as it will clutter up in here. You may speak to those who filled out an interrogation log if absolutely necessary to gather more information about the violator's wrongdoing. I hope this will help both sides equally and positively!!!!
Interrogation Rules
Interrogations may last up to 30 minutes from the start of the interrogation.
Anytime the captured person is asked a question they have the following choices:
Tell the truth (No roll required)
Attempt to lie/deflect (Contested roll)
You can assist on these roles as an Interrogation Specialist and will have a +5 roll bonus (If captured individual is not a GOI member)
If the captured person elects to attempt to lie or deflect and passes the roll off, they're able to lie or deflect the question successfully. If the captured person elects to attempt to lie or deflect and fails the roll off, the interrogator may elect to use torture methods.
The interrogator must RP out the torture method, which results in a second roll off.
If the captured person fails the roll off a second time, they are forced to answer truthfully. If the captured person passes the roll off, they lie successfully.
You may assist in these torture rolls as an Interrogation Specialist and will have a +5 roll bonus (If captured person is not a GOI member)
The interrogators have 5 torture attempts.
If a medically trained individual is assisting in the interrogation, they engage in a contested roll off with the subject. If the subject wins the roll off, a point is removed. If the medically trained individual wins, no point is removed.
You are considered a medically trained individual as an Interrogation Specialist
After all attempts the interrogator rolls off against the hostage.
If the interrogator wins the rolloff the hostage goes unconscious.
If the interrogator loses the rolloff the hostage dies.
The following personnel carry concealed cyanide capsules that are not detectable in a search/weapon strip:
All Foundation level 4+ personnel
All CI High Command+
All CI Special Forces
CI Eye of Intelligence Personnel
An individual equipped with a concealed cyanide capsule may attempt to consume it at any point during an interrogation. When they do so, a roll off occurs between the captured individual and the interrogator. If the captured person wins, they consume the cyanide capsule successfully and die. If the captured individual fails, the cyanide capsule is taken by the interrogator and the interrogation continues.
If a medically trained individual is assisting in the interrogation (Bio Engineers/Medical Branch/Interrogation Specialist) they may assist the interrogator with the roll.
