Development of In-House Device Simulator for NAND Flash Memories [DC47]

In this work, we developed in-house cylindrical device simulator for NAND flash memories. Of course, commercial simulators can do similar things, but we decided to develop in-house simulators to simulate various models, materials, and structures during simulation, and to flexibly add the physical phenomena.

For this goal, we developed a cylindrical simulator. Afterwards, the tunneling process was implemented in the developed cylindrical simulator, and tunneling characteristics of NAND flash memory were checked.
