WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WE ARE TRYING TO SOLVE?
Air Conditioning and how it affects the RGV
People from the Rio Grande Community must face extreme temperatures throughout the entirety of the year, which causes them to spend a great amount of money on electricity bills primarily due to their AC system constantly running. On top of that they also face the possibility of overexerting said AC system which may cause it to fail more frequently. To solve this the possibility of geothermal heating and cooling heat exchanging designs have been suggested however they are less than ideal due to the high prices that these constituted. As a result, we seek to create through this project a geothermal heat exchanging system designed with efficiency, reliability, and affordability in mind
