Bugün, katılımcıların bir önceki gün gerçekleştirdikleri townwatch uygulamalarını bir araya getirerek değerlendirmelerini sağladık. Uygulamaların nasıl raporlaştırılacağını anlattık ve bu raporların afet planlarına nasıl entegre edilebileceği konusunda kapasite gelişimi sağlamaya çalıştık. Teorik eşleşmeler içeren bu çalışmada, ortak kurumumuz ITIS Polo Tecnico Fermi-Gadda süreci destekledi.

Ardından, katılımcılar kendi townwatch uygulamalarını değerlendirmeyi ve rapor formatına dönüştürmeyi öğrendiler. Hazırladıkları raporların afet planlarına nasıl uyarlanabileceği konusunda yetkinlik kazandılar. Hazırlanan raporun daha sonra Gemlik Belediyesi’ne sunulması için gerekli adımları planladık.

Eğitimin devamında, gün boyunca öğrendiklerimizi pekiştirmek amacıyla çeşitli grup çalışmaları yaptık. Role play ve simülasyon ağırlıklı etkinliklerle katılımcıların teorik bilgileri uygulayarak deneyim kazanmalarını sağladık.

Bu süreçte, katılımcıların teorik bilgileri içselleştirmelerine, empati becerilerini geliştirmelerine ve iletişim yeteneklerini güçlendirmelerine fırsat sunduk. İnformal, formal ve non-formal eğitim yöntemlerini kullanarak afet yönetimi, müdahale ve planlama süreçlerinde başarı şanslarını artırmayı hedefleyen çalışmaları tamamladık.

Günün sonunda, proje faaliyetlerimizi sürekli geliştirmek amacıyla günlük değerlendirme oturumumuzu gerçekleştirdik. Her katılımcıya sırayla söz vererek günün oturumlarıyla ilgili genel değerlendirmelerini paylaşmalarını istedik. Katılımcılar, kendi bakış açılarıyla günün nasıl geçtiğini değerlendirerek sürece aktif şekilde katkıda bulundular.

Today, we brought together the townwatch activities that the participants carried out the previous day and enabled them to evaluate their work collectively. We explained how these activities should be reported and worked on building their capacity to integrate these reports into disaster plans. Our partner institution, ITIS Polo Tecnico Fermi-Gadda, supported the process throughout this theoretical matching study.

Afterwards, the participants learned how to evaluate their own townwatch activities and convert them into a proper report format. They gained competence in understanding how these reports could be adapted to disaster plans. We also planned the necessary steps for the prepared report to be presented later to the Gemlik Municipality.

Later in the training, we conducted various group activities to reinforce what we had learned throughout the day. Through role-play and simulation-based exercises, we enabled participants to apply their theoretical knowledge and gain hands-on experience. During this process, we provided opportunities for them to internalize theoretical information, improve their empathy skills, and strengthen their communication abilities. We completed activities aimed at increasing their success in disaster management, response, and planning processes through the effective use of informal, formal, and non-formal education methods.

At the end of the day, we held our daily evaluation session to continuously improve our project activities. We gave each participant the floor in turn and asked them to share their overall assessment of the day’s sessions. By reflecting on the day from their own perspectives, participants actively contributed to the process.
