Bugünkü seansta afet planının bileşenleri anlatıldı. Afet planlarının birçok farklı bileşenden oluştuğu vurgulandı. Yalnızca afet öncesinde alınacak önlemler değil, afet sonrasında gerçekleştirilecek çalışmaların (yaralıların tedavisi, yemek/içme, haberleşme, yağma vb. problemler) da en az afet sırasında uygulanacak çalışmalar kadar önemli olduğu belirtildi. Bu bağlamda afet planlarına tüm düzeylerden katılımın sağlanmasının önemi üzerinde duruldu. Seans boyunca etkin ve verimli bir afet planı hazırlanmasına yönelik gerekli bileşenler anlatıldı. Katılımcılar etkin ve verimli bir afet planı hazırlanması için gerekli bileşenleri öğrendiler. Bu bileşenler mevcut durum, risk, tehlike analizleri, afet görev grupları (Müdahale/Operasyon, Bilgi ve Planlama, Lojistik ve Bakım, Finans ve Yönetim) ile Townwatch etkinliklerini kapsadı. Günün etkinliklerinde İtalyan ortağımız ITIS Polo Tecnico Fermi-Gadda sorumlu olarak yer aldı.

Ayrıca katılımcılara afet öncesindeki mevcut durumu teorik ve uygulamalı eğitim ile nasıl analiz edecekleri, hangi koşulları hangi ölçütlerle değerlendirecekleri konusunda bilgi ve kapasite artışı sağlandı. Katılımcılar afet planı oluştururken mevcut durum ve risk analizi yapma becerisi kazandılar ve bu alandaki bilgi düzeylerini artırdılar.

Proje faaliyet ve etkinliklerinin sürekli olarak iyileştirilmesi, değerlendirilmesi ve katılımcıların proje aktivitelerinin tasarımına katılımını sağlamak amacıyla günlük değerlendirmeler gerçekleştirildi. Günlük değerlendirmede her katılımcıya sırayla söz hakkı verildi ve oturumlar ile kendi açısından günün genel değerlendirmesini yapmaları istendi.

Günün sonunda Türk Kültür Gecesi gerçekleştirildi. Tulum eşliğinde müzik yapıldı ve dans edildi. Diğer ülkeler Türkiye hakkında bilgilendirildi ve katılımcılar Türk yemeklerini tattılar.

In today’s session, the components of a disaster plan were explained. It was emphasized that disaster plans consist of many different components. It was pointed out that not only the precautions to be taken before a disaster but also the activities to be carried out afterwards (such as treating the injured, providing food and water, communication, and preventing looting) are just as important as those implemented during the disaster itself. In this context, the importance of ensuring participation from all levels in disaster planning was highlighted. Throughout the session, the necessary components for preparing an effective and efficient disaster plan were explained. Participants learned the essential components required to develop an effective and efficient disaster plan. These components included current situation, risk, and hazard analyses, disaster task groups (Response/Operation, Information and Planning, Logistics and Maintenance, Finance and Management), and Townwatch activities. Our Italian partner ITIS Polo Tecnico Fermi-Gadda took responsibility for the day’s activities.

Additionally, participants gained knowledge and increased their capacity regarding how to analyze the pre-disaster situation through theoretical and practical training, and how to assess various conditions and criteria. They developed the ability to conduct both situation and risk analyses while preparing disaster plans, thereby enhancing their knowledge in this field.

Daily evaluations were also carried out to continuously improve and assess the project’s activities, as well as to ensure participants’ involvement in designing project activities. During the daily evaluation, each participant was given the opportunity to speak in turn and share their overall assessment of the day and the sessions from their own perspective.

At the end of the day, a Turkish Culture Night was held. Music was played with the traditional tulum, and participants danced together. Other countries were informed about Turkey, and everyone had the chance to taste delicious Turkish dishes.
