Welcome to the GB Band Program! We're proud of our long-standing tradition of musical excellence, built on the dedication of our students and staff. We believe in continuous growth and innovation, offering the finest musical experiences while honoring our past and pursuing new goals. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive education that prepares students for success in an ever-evolving world. Aligned with the Grand Blanc Community Schools' mission, we challenge and support each student to reach their full potential, equipping them for triumph in music and in life.
Our instrumental music program provides exceptional opportunities for musical growth, with the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands forming the core of unforgettable experiences. We emphasize fundamental playing skills, attentive listening, sensitivity, and self-expression, aiming to inspire a genuine love for music.
The GB Instrumental Music Program is diverse, offering large ensembles like our grade-level bands, and smaller groups such as Pep-Band, Chamber Ensembles, or Winter Guard. We are committed to student success, challenging and nurturing musicianship with dedicated faculty.
Our program's success is a collaborative effort of motivated students, supportive parents, and diligent staff. We take pride in our accomplishments and the transformative effect on students, continually pushing for new levels of excellence. All students, from beginners to seasoned musicians, are welcome to our vibrant community.
