The artists build the visual world that players explore.
Everything they draw becomes something the developers place into the map or use for UI and storytelling.
Since the class chose Adventure/Exploration, the art should focus on:
🌿 1. The World Environment
ground tiles (grass, sand, dirt, stone)
cliffs, rivers, ponds
trees, bushes, plants
bridges, fences, signposts
buildings or ruins
unique biomes if they choose (forest, coast, mountain, magical grove, cave, etc.)
🧠2. Things the player can interact with or discover
chests
keys or tokens
collectables
puzzles objects (switches, runes, stones)
lore items
magical objects
treasures, artifacts
🧒 3. Characters & NPCs
the player
friendly villagers / creatures / guides
optional enemies (only if class chooses subgenre light action)
animals
story characters
🌟 4. UI and Visual Feedback
inventory icons
cursor or pointer
item pickup icon
dialogue portraits
map icons
indicators (quest markers, arrows)
Great for: artists who love drawing people, creatures, monsters, cute animals, and anything that moves.
Responsibilities:

NPC sprites
Idle/walk/run animations
Pickup animation (sparkle, glow, etc.)
Creature designs
Portraits for dialogue
VFX (magic sparkles, dust puffs, pops, swirls)
PM will manage consistency in character scale, palette, and animation style.
Great for: artists who enjoy landscapes, buildings, tiles, patterns, architecture, cozy details.
Responsibilities:
All ground tiles (grass, sand, dirt, stone)
Trees, plants, rocks, environmental props
Houses, towers, bridges, campfires, shrines

PM B keeps tiles consistent (same pixel grid, same size, same palette).
