Then, each group will investigate about their animal exploring the following links. They will have to complete the following chart with the information from these 3 websites:
Panda
Elephant
Whale
Each group will write a description of the animal, where it lives, what happened and why it is endangered. Include pictures and if you think it is necessary, videos of them in their environment.
With this description, create a presentation for the class using Genially
The class will take turn to make the presentation for the rest of the class. All the students will have to take down notes, because they will need to answer a Quiz about these three animals.
Write a word document with an article for the school’s Blog under the title “(Name of the animal) are in danger!”. On the article, students have to provide information about the animal and how can we help to preserve it. This article has to be finished for the following class.
You need to visit the following sites and write each possible solution in 3 different categories: "individual action", "local action" and "global action".
Once the correction has been made on the board, T will ask students who they think is involved in each of the solutions (local people, governments, NGOs) and if they know/participated in any of type of activity like those.
