The following websites have been analyzed according to Dudeney and Hockly’s criteria.
Accuracy: The organization is recognized around the world and it has the most comprehensive inventory of biological species. This means that the content is accurate.
Currency: Species populations and the threats they encounter change constantly; this makes the content current and updated constantly.
Content: The content is highly specialized but presented in a way that can be effectively utilized for developing academic and scientific English. It offers detailed profiles, and it can help to develop search skills.
Functionality: The site works fine and the pages offer varied information, which is accessible easily.
Caption IUCN site
Accuracy: It is a globally recognized and respected conservation organization. This means that the sites has strong factual accuracy.
Currency: Since the site deals with environmental conservation, the content is current. The information is up-to-date, which impacts its relevance for current discussions and understanding.
Content: The site offers rich, diverse, and engaging content. It is suitable for educational purposes.
Functionality: The site works perfectly. The pages inside the site are varied and no alternative technology is required.
Caption WWF site
Accuracy: The authors of every recipe are below the tittle and you can access to all their posts. The name of the administrators or creators of the site is not revealed.
Currency: The are new posts uploaded constantly. They are also about important events like father’s day, Christmas, Thanksgiving.
Content: The posts are not just recipes. There are articles about trends, accessories, tips to enjoy new and original food and drink in chains like Starbucks, etc. The site is very attractive and easy to navigate.
Functionality: The site works perfectly. The files and pages are not large and no alternative technology is required.
Caption Tast of Home site
Accuracy: The director and founder of the site and writer original stories is the British writer, actor and film director, Hugh Fraser.
Currency: The tales are not new or original. Most of them are classics, fairytales and myths. Anyway, some stories never get old.
Content: The site provides both the texts and the audiobooks read by professional actors. That makes it very appealing.
Functionality: All the links work fine and you don’t need any alternative technologies. You don’t the highest speed connection to move around and listen to the stories.

Accuracy: The website is a world-known expert on travelling and tour information. They have written books about every country of the world most of the main cities
Currency: The information is constantly updated.
Content: Anyone who wishes to visit or learn about history, sights and prices and recommendations will find this website and its content very relevant. The website is easy to move around.
Functionality: The site works fine. There are no broken links and it loads quickly, despite having a lot of information and content is easy to load.
Caption Lonely Planet site
Accuracy: The creator and administrator of the site is Rob Howard, who also created two more sites related to English teaching. Originally started as business administrator, he has over 20 years of experience teaching in South America and Oceania.
Currency: The last update was on June 05th, although it is not specified which was that content was.
Content: The post and content are very interesting. They normally include videos to animate the topic and make it more appealing.
Functionality: The site works fine. It does not have broken links and does not use large files or alternative technologies, which makes it easy to surf around.

Accuracy: It provides the biggest and most used Corpus of English language. The information provided is as accurate as internet allows it, since it is taken from real websites.
Currency: It depends on the words you look, but if the topic is new, probably you will have up-to-date information.
Content: The information is very specific but very relevant and useful for English students and users of the language.
Functionality: There are some broken links and it is not very nice visually.
