The conference will take place in McAllister Building, room 114 (“MCL” in D4 on the campus map below), University Park, PA 16802, USA.

If you fly, the closest airport is University Park Airport (airport code: SCE), which has direct flights to Chicago (United airline), Washington DC (United airline), Philadelphia (American airline), and Detroit (Delta airline).
Coming from Harrisburg, New York, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, there is also the Megabus bus service.

The workshop will start on Monday morning and finish by Friday midday at the latest around 1pm.

As a visitor to our campus, you may access the free AT&T wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) service from your personal computer or other wireless enabled device at any participating visitor wireless location.
Campus visitors wishing to access free AT&T Visitor Wireless service should follow these simple steps:
Verify that you are in a wireless service area by checking your wireless signal for the network named “attwifi.”
Connect to “attwifi” by configuring your wireless network settings to access “attwifi.”
Launch a web browser and attempt to connect to any website.
Click “Get Connected” to agree to Terms of Service on the AT&T Wi-Fi connection page.
You’re now connected to the Internet.

We have agreements with two hotels in State College.
Sleep Inn
Conditions: The rate is $65/night plus the 8.5% occupancy tax. Guests will need to mention “GAP Conference” when making reservations to receive the discount. Reservations must be made by the cutoff date July 7, 2017; after that, any unused rooms will be placed back for anyone to use. However, cancellations may be received no later than 4pm (local time) on July 29, 2017 to avoid a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax.
Days Inn
Conditions: The rate per weeknight is $89/night, Friday night it is $129 (plus tax). The Group Code “CGGAPC” must be mentioned when reserving rooms. All reservations must be made by June 30, 2017. After that time, all unreserved rooms will be released back into inventory.
*A credit card # will be provided by individuals and will be used for guarantee for late arrival only. Non-credit card rooms will be released at 6pm on the day of arrival. Individual cancellations not received 72 hours prior to the day of arrival are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of all anticipated charges and no-shows will be charged.
