Motorola has finally launched the much awaited Moto X4 in India. Moto X comes in two variants based on 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM version with a price tag of Rs 20,999 and comes at Rs 22,999 respectively. With the kind of features and specifications and at the given price point the Moto X4 competes with a very popular exiting device in the market – the Oppo F5. Here is a detailed comparison of both the devices for you.
Oppo F5 vs Moto X4 specs and features
Design and display – The Moto X4 features anodized aluminum frame encased in glass. The back is slightly contoured for an easy one hand grip. The device has a reflective film under the glass that makes Moto X4 look unique and sleek. It also sports a Corning Gorilla Glass coating on front and back for protection against scratches. Moto X4 sports a 5.2 inch, LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of, 1080 x 1920 pixels.
Oppo F5 comes with a complete meatal unibody design and dual curved edges at the back. It has a 6.0 inch FHD and Full screen display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It also sports veal fingerprint sensor just below the camera lens in the rear.
Specs
The Moto X 4 is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508 GPU. It comes in two variants of 3GB/4GB RAM that is supported by 32GB/ 64 GB internal storage respectively. The storage is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. The device is dual SIM and supports nano SIM cards.
The Oppo F5 is powered by an Octa-core MT6763T processor and features 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage respectively. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
Software-
Moto X4 runs stock version of Android 7.1 Nougat. It has a unique feature of wireless sound system that lets users connect with four Bluetooth audio devices concurrently. It also features smarter shortcuts. Oppo F5 runs ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
Battery
Moto X4 is backed by a 3000 mAh, non-removable battery, and comes with 15 W TurboPowertechnology. Motorola claims that it can offer 6 hours of power within 15 minutes of charging.
For Oppo F5 power comes from a massive 3,200mAh non-removable battery with quick charging.
Though Oppo F5 has a bigger battery , owing to the larger screen, both devices offers similar backup.
Moto X4 has a dual-camera setup in the rear with 12 and 8 megapixel units. The 12 MP sensor has 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and the 8 MP sensor offers an ultra-wide angle lens with 120-degree field view, aperture f/2.2 and 1.12-micron pixels. The camera also features dual-tone LED flash,phase-detection, Geo tagging,aftereffect, black and white, background selection and 4K video recording. For selfies the Moto X4 sports a 16-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 lens and LED flash, beautification mode, face filtersand an all-new 4-megapixel adaptive low-light mode.
The highlight of Oppo F5 is its AI-powered selfies. This intelligent feature automatically senses age, gender, skin tone, skin type, customize effects or filters.The Oppo F3 Plus has two front-facing camera - a 16 megapixel and an 8-megapixel unit. For the rear, Oppo has a 16-megapixel shooter with Sony IMX398 sensor, aperture f/1.7.
On the camera segment , both the phones look superb.

Moto X4 right now is available only on Flipkart and Moto Hub in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options. The starting price for 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant is Rs.20,999 and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version is priced at Rs. 22,999.
The Oppo F5 is priced at Rs.19,990 for the 4GB RAM with 32GB ROM, and the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage device is available for Rs. 24,990. Oppo F5 is available both online in Flipkart and offline in stores. You can choose fromn Gold, Black, and Red colour options.

Both the phones are excellent and offer unique features. But if you have a selfie craze it is best to go for Oppo F5 otherwise Moto X 4 is a great device with good looks, sturdy build and awesome features.
