Both the smartphones come with glass back panel and look amazing. However, they are extremely slippery so never mind using a case.
Both the devices have very thin screen bezels. The OnePlus 6 and Zenfone 5Z also have the thin chin.
While the OnePlus 6 has a smaller notch, the Zenfone 5Z carries a little bit bigger notch almost like an iPhone X.
In terms of design and button placement, they are the same again. Both the devices have vertical camera placement.
In this section, I don’t think anyone is a winner. They both are equally impressive.
OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28 inch Optic AMOLED display with 1080x2280px resolution with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio. It comes with OnePlus’s custom UI called Oxygen OS 5.1.3 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The display looks crisp and clear.
Zenfone 5Z has a 6.2 inch IPS LCD display. The display is also crisp and clear but it takes a lead here because Zenfone 5Z has a little more vibrant display. It comes with its custom UI based on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The UI looks neat and simple.
OnePlus 6 has Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 paired with Adreno 630. It comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The gaming performance and the mulita-tasking is a breeze in OnePlus 6.
Zenfone 5Z also comes with same Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with Adreno 630 and it could handle games and heavy apps easily.
Both the device perform equally great here, we would rather say tie in the performance section.
The OnePlus 6 comes with Dual 16MP with Optical Image Stabilization and has 20MP front facing selfie shooter. It also has dual LED Flash. The auto-focus is PDAF type.
On the other hand Zenfone 5Z has Dual 12MP camera with 4-Axis OIS and also has PDAF. It has an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter.
The photo quality is better in Zenfone 5Z than OnePlus 6 during both daylight and lowlight conditions. So the winner would be zenfone 5Z in this camera department.
The battery capacity on OnePlus 6 is 3,300 mAh and it also comes with its own Fast charging technology called Dash Charging. It barely takes an hour to charge fully from 0%.
The battery capacity on the Zenfone 5Z is also same as Oneplus 6 i.e 3,300 mAh. It also comes with fast charging support but it takes around 1 hour and 15-20 minutes extra to charge fully.
No one is the winner in this section both the devices perform same in terms of battery.
Deciding the winner is tough here. Both the devices are flagships and champions in their own ways. But here is the quick points which will let you decide who is better.
