Capturing special moments in sports photography is one of my favorite things that I get to do as a journalist. As a previous high school athlete and someone who grew up playing sports, I know the ecstatic feeling when you see a photo of yourself in your special moment. So, it means the world to me when I get to capture this special memory for others. In my images, I want to capture the excitement, adrenaline, and focus of every game.

This image of me using our telescopic camera was taken of me at the first game of this past football season. I love to get to be on the sidelines, right beside all the action of the game.

Football Media Day

One of my favorite sports to photograph is football because I love to capture the intensity and raw essence of the nature of the sport itself. Since my dad has been a football coach my entire life, I grew up on the sidelines, so football has always had a special place in my heart. I took these photos at this year's media day on our new turf at Dunlap Stadium.

These three photos were taken at last year's senior day track meet. I love to capture movement in pictures as it makes them come to life in their two-dimensional field.

Tigers Basketball

I took this collage of pictures at one of the last home basketball games of the season. In this image, I wanted to capture the ever-changing, fast pace of what it feels like to be at a high school basketball game.

I took these three photos at the first-round playoff game that our Lady Tigers softball team hosted. I loved getting to show the excitement and love that these girls have for the game.

Baseball on the Road

I took this series of pictures at the games that our boy's baseball team played down in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was a fun weekend filled with entertaining games, and the team loved getting to have some exciting photos to remember.
