Vroomtastic
City
Vroomtastic is a city located in the fictional FTCT universe. It is situated in central Ireland, specifically in the county of Offaly. The city is the setting of the Freddie the Christian Truck web series as well as being the setting of its predecessor book series, Freddie and Friends.
The city was once a small village in the 1850s, containing about 500 residents then. Through migration and urbanisation, the city grew and grew in size and population. High-rises and skyscrapers began to be built in the area from the 1960s onwards.
The city is now home to around 650,000 residents, as well as more than 25,000 cars.
Government
Vroomtastic is divided into 8 wards or municipalities: Marshfield, Sawton, Wycamore, Deentow, Southfield, Lantow, the Industrial Area, and Downtown. The Downtown area is the city's largest and most populous ward, containing around 268,000 residents. Lantow is the smallest district with about 7,000 people, and followed by Sawton with 10,000. Downtown is the city's seat of government.
Infrastructure
Most modern buildings and architecture in Vroomtastic was built from the 1990s onwards, though most housing in the city was built decades prior. The vast majority of skyscrapers and high-rises over 10 stories are located in the Downtown area, particularly in the Altitra and Vroomline Heights neighbourhoods. In Lantow, Sawton, and Wycamore, buildings typically exceed no more than three stories high, due to the suburban nature of these areas. The Industrial Area in the city's southwest contains mostly logistical and industrial buildings such as nuclear power plants, windmills and factories. The South Dock area contains a landfill that goes beyond Vroomtastic's city limits.
Suggestions and Implications of War in Vroomtastic
In 2025, videos published on Emmanuel Animations show several buildings in Vroomtastic destroyed, and an animation meme titled 'Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday (Animation Meme)' shows an eight-storey building crumbling in an airstrike. This means that the city is likely currently at war with an army or group of some kind, possibly the Sticky Fickies, although more information cannot be disclosed this early in FTCT's run.

Bombing of Wilson Tower
On July 15, 2025, a high-rise building now named 'Wilson Tower' in Vroomtastic was targeted in an airstrike by a fighter jet flying over the city. The surrounding area was empty likely due to an evacuation order.
It cannot be said with confidence at this stage that full-blown war is actively happening within Vroomtastic, however with other images, it is a possibility.
Throughout the run of Freddie the Christian Truck, this page and may others will be updated as new episodes come out.
Other images also raise this question of war in Vroomtastic.

On September 25, 2025, footage from a downtown street in central Vroomtastic shows a news building completely destroyed, likely by aerial bombardment. It is not known how or when these events took place, and so far in FTCT war has not been mentioned at all.
In the FTCT Q&A thumbnail, many high-rises in the background are damaged for seemingly no reason, with one being entirely flattened, leaving a large gap and buildings behind being more visible. This raises questions on the current state of the city's infrastructure, as well as Vroomtastic's ability to rebuild.

Population of Vroomtastic
Another notable thing that can be seen throughout Freddie the Christian Truck is a complete absence of people on the city's streets. Wherever roads are shown, there always seem to be no people present.
Now the obvious answer to this question would be that due to the amount of time it takes to create FTCT episodes, animating large crowds of people would use up even more storage space and time. However, it does leave many unanswered questions, such as of the actual population of Vroomtastic, and how and if the residents of the city do leave their homes and commute around Vroomtastic (which they likely do).

The Sticky Ficky Threat (and how it may link to war in Vroomtastic)
On September 11, 2023, Freddie is visited by a tryrannical, sadistic stick figure who proclaims his hatred for Vroomtastic and its inhabitants. He tells of how his people were subjugated by the authorities for years, and has a desire for revenge to destroy the city.
This could happen through invasion of the city, or through mass bombing. Either way, the city would fall and its citizens would either have to flee or stay and face death and destruction.
Due to what we see in several videos on the Emmanuel Animations YouTube channel, this may already be unfolding, however agin, this cannot be confirmed.
It's also possible that Vroomtastic was bombed before 2025, most likely between 2020 and 2023, although we have yet to see any evidence of this.
