Vroomtastic
City
Vroomtastic is a city located in the fictional FTCT universe. It is situated in central Ireland, specifically in the county of Offaly. The city is the setting of the Freddie the Christian Truck web series as well as being the setting of its predecessor book series, Freddie and Friends.
The city was once a small village in the 1720s, containing about 500 residents then. Through migration and urbanisation, the city grew and grew in size and population. High-rises and skyscrapers began to be built in the area from the 1960s onwards.
The city was home to around 750,000 residents, as well as more than 25,000 cars before the 2025 war.
Government
Vroomtastic is divided into 8 wards or municipalities: Marshfield, Sawton, Wycamore, Deentow, Southfield, Lantow, the Industrial Area, and Downtown. The Downtown area is the city's largest and most populous ward, containing around 398,000 residents. Lantow is the smallest district with about 10,000 people, and followed by Sawton with 28,000. Downtown is the city's seat of government.
Infrastructure
Most modern buildings and architecture in Vroomtastic was built from the 1990s onwards, though most housing in the city was built decades prior. The vast majority of skyscrapers and high-rises over 10 stories are located in the Downtown area, particularly in the Vroom City and Vroomline Heights neighbourhoods. In Lantow, Sawton, and Wycamore, buildings typically exceed no more than three stories high, due to the suburban nature of these areas. The Industrial Area in the city's southwest contains mostly logistical and industrial buildings such as nuclear power plants, windmills and factories. The South Dock area contains a landfill that goes beyond Vroomtastic's city limits.
History
Habitation in the area can be traced as far back as the Stone Age, when humans first settled in the area. Cars have lived in Vroomtastic for about 120 years, and buildings were first constructed in Vroomtastic around 2,000 years ago.
Urban sprawl and migration led to the city and its population growing over time, with Vroomtastic at one point containing about 800,000 residents. Skyscrapers were first constructed in the city in the 1960s, with the current tallest building, 5th Pinnacle, built in 2005.
In 2014, Vroomtastic experienced its first large scale war since WW2, waged by the Sticky Ficky Military, and several other wars have ravaged the city since, with the latest war ongoing since April 2025. The conflicts that took place in 2014, 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2025 respectively have all been responsible for large economic losses, destruction of infrastructure including apartment blocks and homes, and large-scale loss of life.
Restrictions such as curfews and sometimes restriction of movements to certain areas (such as those closer to SFM military activity) have been put in place.

Bombing of Wilson Tower
On July 15, 2025, a high-rise building now named 'Wilson Tower' in Vroomtastic was targeted in an airstrike by warplanes, causing the entire 8-storey building to collapse. The surrounding area was empty likely due to an evacuation order.
The building is one of many to be bombed by the SFM during the current war, which began in April 2025.
This screenshot taken from 'The 5-second rule makes no sense' shows the Yatan Tower lying in ruins.
In Reval, a neighbourhood in the north of the Downtown ward of Vroomtastic, several high-rise buildings have been flattened since the aerial attacks on Vroomtastic began in late April 2025. One such tower, the Yatan Tower, was destroyed in SFM airstrikes on April 22, 2025 as seen on the left (on browsers)
In the FTCT QnA thumbnail, several high rises in the background were destroyed by bombings between May and July 2025, with the Murtagh Tower (on the right) having its upper floors damaged in May.

Population of Vroomtastic
Another notable thing that can be seen throughout Freddie the Christian Truck is a complete absence of people on the city's streets. Wherever roads are shown, there always seem to be no people present.
Now the obvious answer to this question would be that due to the amount of time it takes to create FTCT episodes, animating large crowds of people would use up even more storage space and time. However, it does leave many unanswered questions, such as of the actual population of Vroomtastic, and how and if the residents of the city do leave their homes and commute around Vroomtastic (which they likely do).

The Sticky Ficky Threat (and how it may link to war in Vroomtastic)
On September 11, 2023, Freddie is visited by a tryrannical, sadistic stick figure who proclaims his hatred for Vroomtastic and its inhabitants. He tells of how his people were subjugated by the authorities for years, and has a desire for revenge to destroy the city.
This goal has culminated in several wars taking place on Vroomtastic, with the current campaign of destruction aiming to achieve this final goal.
