Background

Freddie the Christian Truck was first conceived in December 2022, when Emmanuel and his mum wanted to create their own YouTube web series. Seeing how successful and popular some animated series have become, like BFDI, one of Emmanuel's favourite web shows, Emmanuel wanted to make a show that would inspire others to seek God's kingdom. Later on in January - February 2023, the title of this show was decided to be 'Freddie the Christian Truck', however, development did not start until May 2023. This was because Emmanuel wanted to use software like Adobe Animate, or Opentoonz, as most animated web series and TV shows today are made using those software. But then in May 2023, it was decided that FlipaClip should be used to make Freddie the Christian Truck. This is because FlipaClip is free and easy to use, and Emmanuel was used to using it.
