FROGGY'S DEW RESUME

It’s time for our grand finale, folks! Last night I tasted the 4th and final flavor of the Hard Mountain Dew variety pack: Watermelon.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this one. I initially assumed that it was an alcoholic version of Major Melon, which is not a particularly impressive Dew, so my expectations were fairly low. Later, it dawned on me that the flavor designation is simply “Watermelon,” not “Major Melon,” so then I began to wonder if it might be different.

As it turned out, it wasn’t just different. It actually ended up being my favorite Hard Mountain Dew flavor, by a pretty wide margin. Hard Watermelon gets much closer to the candy-like, Jolly Rancher-esque vibe that I wish Major Melon had. Also, the fake sweetener taste that I complained about in my three previous reviews is barely noticeable in this flavor.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth like me, I highly recommend this one. It’s so delicious, it’s dangerous.
