FINALLY got to taste #MajorMelon for the first time tonight!!!!! Tastes like candy, but not as strongly so as I expected. Very nice! #MountainDew
I’ve been excited about this one for months! Eventually got impatient not finding it anywhere in SLO and ordered it online. Finally got to taste it for the first time tonight!
The verdict: Unsurprisingly, it tastes like candy, but in a more subtle way than I expected. I was hoping it’d be reminiscent of watermelon-flavored Jolly Ranchers. It doesn’t quite get on Jolly Ranchers’ level, but it is still very, very tasty. Though not as mind blowing as I was expecting, I would still put it in my top 10 Mountain Dew flavors. It’s sweet, refreshing, unique, and definitely worth tasting.
Note: Due to several other more delicious flavors being released after this, I don't really consider Major Melon part of my top 10 anymore, but I still stand by everything else I wrote in that review.
