My new favorite out of all the pineapple Dews!!! #BajaGold @MountainDew
Trying this one was very exciting! Baja Gold is supposed to be a mix of pineapple and Baja Blast, but there have been a lot of arguments in the online Dew community about whether or not the Baja part is even noticeable, so I was pretty much expecting this to be a clone of Maui Burst.
I’m happy to report that I can indeed taste the hint of Baja Blast amongst the pineapple. Out of all the pineapple-based Dews that have been released so far, I think this one is my favorite. I love both Maui Burst and Baja Blast, and Baja Gold is basically the lovechild of those two flavors.
I was already confident that I was going to enjoy this one, but I like it even more than I was expecting to. It’s delicious, it’s refreshing, and I’m absolutely dying to mix it with some Malibu rum. Highly recommended!!! 🍍
A few weeks after posting the above review, I did indeed mix it with Malibu rum, and it was just as phenomenal as expected. Since I already used the name Piña Dewlada for Maui Burst and Malibu, I'm calling this one a Baja Piña Dewlada.
