New Owners

These are just a few of the pictures sent by happy new owners with their commentary.

I love this family photo of our little girl Belle in her jammies to match her people! She is still adorable! I did not even know they had matching jammies for our fur babies!

Happy New Year! I hope 2021 is better than 2020!

Phynli had her 12 week appt today and is still doing great! She weighed 7.8 lbs and still healthy as can be. She’s still a joy to have at home. She sits now and we haven’t had a potty accident in the house since Thanksgiving!

I can’t believe that Phynli is almost 6 months old all ready. She is still doing great and loved by all.

She just had her first major haircut so we had a little photo shoot afterwards. I thought I would share with you. I tried to post on your Facebook page but I didn’t see a spot that I could post.

Maya loves to explore!

Nicky's first full haircut. He'd been to the groomers a few times for facial trims and nail clippings, but this was his first full haircut, since his adult coat was coming in. He seems to have more apricot/light brown coloring on his back and hind legs now. Also, his adult coat seems a little curlier than his puppy coat. This photo was from two weeks ago, so his hair has grown in a little more.

Hi Kim and Glen!

Ripper is the best-est little guy (in our eyes anyways)!! He absolutely loves playing in the yard and fetching his hippo toy.

His potty training is coming around pretty well, and he sleeps completely through the night. He is very mouthy and teething extremely hard so if you have any recommendations as to how to prevent him nibbling on Ben and I, they would be most welcome!

We love him so much:) Please see the attached photos! He has a hedgehog that he loves to snuggle with when he naps, and a pink pillow that he has claimed as him own!

I hope you are both well!

So we have renamed Nero to Niko. He is doing great. He has met several of his cousin dogs and has grown particularly fond of the miniature poodle, Godzilla. I know, the name makes me laugh too. Niko loves to play outside with the big frisbee and help me get dressed every morning or fold clothes. He has also created his own obstacle course in the house when he needs to run off energy before bed. He will scoot under the entire length of the long ottoman, run under the side table, turn back around, run back behind the couch, come back out and start all over again. He and my dad run daily in the park across the street and Niko supervises him at home. He truly has a great demeanor and funny personality. Love, love, love.

Sincerely,

Lacy, Ella and Niko

Annabelle is a water dog! She got in the bowl and splashed all the water out.

Annabelle is doing great. She is so wonderful. We just adore her. She has settled in for the long haul. You can feel how she is maturing. I didn’t think it would happen so soon. She loves my granddaughter as you can see from the picture.

Lilah looks very happy with her new family.

Good afternoon Kim,

I just wanted to send you a few photos of Leon’s arrival at our house. He is such a great puppy!!!

My two kids absolutely adore him, and he is so good with them!!! I was expecting him to be a little shy or nervous, but he wasn’t at all, which speaks so much to his socialization at your house.

His big dog brother Rusty isn’t too sure of him yet, although Leon really wants to play with him (all the time!!).

I just cannot explain how happy we are with him, he has fit in so well with our family already!! He climbs stairs, goes potty outside, cuddles, sleeps in our bed with us, we just love him so much!!

The best part for me is to watch how he follows my daughter around and just always wants to watch her, I feel like she has found her best friend!!

Thank you so much for giving him an awesome start in life!!

This little precious pup is Kyah. She has just visited the groomer for the first time and is living a life of luxury with her new family.

Leon has found his happy place!

Leon has changed color significantly! Here he is with his "big brother!"

Hi!

I hope you are all doing okay without Elly and the other puppies!

Elly is doing great! She slept fine last night. Though admittedly, I slept on the floor in front of her open crate. We let her get used to the crate by putting her toys and food in it and eventually she walked right in! Around 4:00am after a potty break, we both then slept on the couch. She’s such a good girl! Today we’ve been playing, pottying and hanging outside.

Thanks for starting Elly out on the right “paw”😜! She is so well adjusted and that’s what has made our transition so smooth.

Thank you again for everything!

We are so in love already! Now if I can stop Denny from waking Elly up during her naps to play with her. 😜

Thanks again, Nancy

Hi Kim,

I am so sorry you are sad. Please know you have given us the greatest gift!! Poppy is wonderful and such a great addition to the family. All three of the kids love her and she is such a happy little puppy. My daughter can’t get enough of her so I am sending picture of them together in her playpen and one of her in our yard!!!

Zac has been everything and more than I (we) expected in a new puppy. Attached are a few pics I took earlier today. He’s a little camera shy. Or moving around too fast for good pics. Seems he’s grown a bit in the last ten days.

Our vet checked him out as being in great health. We’re on schedule for future shots, etc.

Within a day or two, he’s become very comfortable in a crate, sleeping most of this time. When out, he follows me around and lately has bravely explored the house and yard.

He’s housebroken on nearly all occasions. The few times he misbehaved, it was my fault. I wasn’t quick enough and/or I didn’t get the signals. We let him out every hour or so during the day, and every few hours at night.

I’ve got him to sit on command. And fetch. Later: down and stay. He’s extremely bright and a quick learner.

A few minor issues. He’s an ankle biter. And puppy teeth are sharp. We’re working on this. I’m mostly concerned on stepping on him. The other, he seems to be a light eater. Nothing to be concerned about, but he’s eating less than recommended on the Chicken Soup puppy bag.

Thank you again for allowing us to adopt such a nice guy.

Bob (and Peggy) Martin

Hi Kim

Avi is great! He is so much fun. My son is leaving for college tomorrow so I know Avi will be sad. (Andrew plays with him every morning.)

His favorite play thing is a 4” plastic plant container and loves his tunnel which is similar to the one you have. He rides in the car well.

Still working on crate training and housebreaking and a rhythm.

Thanks for doing such a good job for those first 8 weeks! Avi is a wonderful addition to our family!

Warmly,

Judy😊

Hi Kim,

Every morning I tell myself I'm going to email you an update, but then get busy and forget, so thanks for reaching out!

Ruger is doing AMAZING!! We are smitten and he's going to be one spoiled boy! He has settled into our craziness very well. This morning, Cooper taught him to go down the basement stairs! He has become very brave, and not much makes him nervous anymore. The kids love playing with him, inside the house and out. He has made several appearances on video chats with all their friends. He is a wonderful companion for us all!

Ruger is definitely a momma's boy, which I'm loving! He seeks me out wherever I am, and makes himself comfy at my feet, if I don't pick him up. I don't know how many times I've asked where he is, and he's asleep under my chair! (That's where he is as I type!)

We found out he isn't fond of going in a crate. Night 1 he did great in the crate, night 2 not so much! When I got him out, he was so worked up that I didn't have the heart to try again, and I haven't put him back in since! I put him right into bed with us, and he snuggles right in! 😀 We will have to start some day time crate time at some point so he's use to it when we return to school.

He is such a lover and we love him! Thank you to you and Glen for raising such a great puppy! He is perfect!!

Hope this quick message finds everyone well!!

Thanks again,

Nicki

Just checking in again. Cosmo is the best little boy ever! He is getting so much love! He’s doing great at crate training at night. All night every night. We were waiting for him to wake up and cry and need to go out but nothing. Loves to cuddle and sleep at our feet during the day. He loves to be snuggled.

Say hi to Dempsey! Believe it or not, the puppy on the left is the same dog as the image on the right! When I say these are color changers, I mean it!!! Dempsey is also twenty pounds at six months, coming from a 12 pound father and a 17 pound mother, this is what hybrid vigor means.
