Fox River Cockapoos

We are located in Trevor, Wisconsin.  We are just about six minutes from the Illinois border, right between Chicago and Milwaukee.

All About Us!

Hi there, my name is Kim.  My husband, Glen and I  have just begun a new journey in our life.  Our kids are now married and living on their own and I've missed having the commotion of youth in our home. I needed some little ones to love, so I decided to go back to my roots and begin breeding Cockapoos.  In the past, I bred Lhasa Apsos, but since I have always wanted a Cocker Spaniel or a poodle, Cockapoos seemed a logical choice. I went on a two year journey searching out the best breeders I could find and ended up with two beautiful, incredibly  intelligent, loving female Cocker Spaniels and one tiny loving, bright, miniature Poodle.  Now, my journey has begun!

We have had one incredible year raising three small dogs in our home.  They are all loved dearly and spoiled rotten. They have brought a ton of delight into our home!

Update 2024

Somehow time has flown by, life has a way of doing that. It is now 2024 and we have had many puppies from our two mamas;  Sadie and Delilah. We are loving the puppies and all of the letters and comments from our past and recent owners. We have one final litter of puppies right now to rehome.

As a side note, Willow, the cocker spaniel we added to our program, will never be bred and is off to an early retirement. She has many issues with her skin and we do not want to pass this on to new owners. We sure do love her though! She will always be our girl, along with Sadie, Delilah, and Samson!

Now, it is seven years into our journey and we are ready to say goodbye to breeding and hand off the whole endeavor to our daughter, Kristin. She has already  fallen in love with the whole breeding process and plans to continue. Glen and I  have our pack of dogs and a motor home, we plan to travel and take our dogs with us on many trips. They have worked hard for us, now we plan to show them a wonderful retirement.

My grand-kids and my daughter in law guarantee the socialization of each and every puppy!

Healthy, spoiled puppies begin with us!

All of our dogs have been tested through Paw Print Genetics and all of our future puppies will be cleared through their parentage. Click on the Paw Print Genetics button to see the test results. Can't view it: I have posted the results on the testing page. You will find the link next to the home page.

We are members of the American Cockapoo Club  and our website is listed there too.

Through Paw Print Genetics, our prospective owners are welcome to check out the clear testing results online at Paw Print Pedigrees. Health is of utmost importance to us.  We are doing all we can to ensure the health of the puppies.

 Results of hip testing!

All dogs came back with good preliminary testing for hips.  They have to be retested at two years of age to be posted on the  OFA, or Orthopedic Foundation of Animals website, but all came back with preliminary test results of GOOD.

Our dogs are kept in our home.  We do not have a kennel, nor do we want one. The dogs are part of our family and that is the only way we would have it!
