The story: The new Avatar, Korra is stuck in a encampment with the Northern tribe... until she escapes making her way to republic city. In this series she fights many of the threats to republic city and also threats to the wider world.Meanwhile she has to master all 4 elements. At the begining she has already got mastery over 3 of the 4 elements and so in book 1 she only has to master airbending . For the rest of the series she can learn things like metal bending and they can then foucus on her mental journey rather than just her mastering of the elements.
In The Legend of Korra we meet the new Avatar, a waterbender of the northern tribe, Korra. In season one she has already mastered 3 elements but has a block on airbending. The series takes place over 5 years and by season 4, Korra is 22 yrs old .

The animation in Korra is better than in ATLA, Otis- Yes I think that the animators did a better job on Korra than they did on Aang no joke Aang is amazing but you have to agree that everything in sooooo detailed in Korra and the colours fit so well into every scene. Therefore korra's animation is better.
Who is better Aang or Korra?, Otis- I don't want to answer this as they they both lived in such different times and had to deal with such different events. Just like I couldn’t chose between Kyoshi and Yangchen it would be impossible to decide.
