We are thrilled to announce a very special addition to our 20th Anniversary celebrations!

Introducing our Home Grown Stage (otherwise known as Cafe Acoustica) which is a new initiative dedicated to celebrating the incredible talent we have right here in our local community.

Alongside an already rich program of headline acts and visiting artists, the Home Grown Stage will shine a spotlight on local musicians, giving them a chance to perform, connect and share their music with festival audiences. It’s our way of supporting the artists who help make our local music scene so vibrant, and celebrating the home-grown talent that makes the Fleurieu such a special place.

Adrienne Lovelock

Adrienne’s storytelling songs find the extraordinary in the ordinary, weaving tales of past and present with the simplicity, directness and narrative power of traditional folk music.

Alan G Smallman

Award-winning folk singer/songwriter Alan G Smallman combines distinctive guitar, storytelling and original songs, with performances at Adelaide Fringe and Tamworth.

Alex Aubrey

Alex Aubrey’s indie-folk blends thoughtful storytelling with jazzy, bluesy and swing influences, delivering warm, witty and catchy originals alongside reimagined classics across Adelaide and the Fleurieu.

Amber Sheen

Welsh-born, Australia-based singer/songwriter Amber draws on nature, emotion, mindfulness and the human experience to create soulful, intuitive songs that explore life’s quieter moments.

(Another) Home Grown Band

(Another) Home Grown Band brings together Fleurieu musicians and singers of all experience levels to celebrate local talent with old favourites, plenty of personality and a whole lot of fun.

Badland Caravan

Badland Caravan are an Adelaide-based Outlaw-Blues band whose intense, mystic sound blends desert blues with dark, alchemical sonic textures.

The Captain and Mrs G

After 56 years of marriage and making music together, The Captain and Mrs G bring warm harmonies, ukuleles, traditional folk songs and sea shanties to every performance.

Christine Greaves

Christine Greaves is a much-loved Fleurieu singer-songwriter whose warm, heartfelt performances and original songs capture stories, feelings and melodies straight from the heart.

Cow Tones

Alternative country and old-time folk songs tackling the highs, lows and absurdities of life—from poverty, drought and emigration to gambling, bureaucracy, bad luck and redemption.

Craic & The Cratur

This five-piece blends traditional and modern Irish music with a lively twist, transforming contemporary favourites—including Australian rock classics—into irresistible Celtic dancefloor tunes.

David Greenslade & Jen Lush

Father and daughter David Greenslade and Jen Lush reunite to share their lifelong love of music, bringing their heartfelt storytelling, songwriting and Fleurieu music community spirit to the stage.

Don Morrison

Adelaide’s larrikin troubadour Don Morrison blends humour, irony and compassion in original songs and storytelling, backed by 16 albums, handmade guitars and a powerful stage presence.

Eden Brunton

Emerging South Coast Folk Club artist Eden Brunton brings her love of country and folk music to the stage, inspired by artists including Kasey Chambers, Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks.

Eileen Ordish

Eileen is a Yorkshire lass of Irish heritage, who has called Australia home since the early 70s. Her musical style is a fusion of Irish and English folk, with a hint of Dylan and Joan Baez.

Electric Blanket

Fresh, exciting and ready to make some noise, Electric Blanket are hitting the stage for their very first performance! You can say you saw them here first, before they become everyone’s new favourite band.

Glen Reid

2024 Judith Crossley Songwriting Competition winners Glen & Jo blend original songs with folk and pop favourites, featuring guitar, double bass and sweet harmonies across festivals, wineries and community events.

Henk Groot & Joe Cairns

Local legends Henk and Joe Cairns bring decades of musical experience, heartfelt storytelling and Joe’s extraordinary tenor voice to the stage.

Hit & Miss & Friends

Hit and Miss bring five years of lively Fleurieu performances, blending trumpet, guitar, ukulele, bodhrán and vocals with original songs, favourite covers and a few talented friends for extra fun.

Hut

For 13 years, HUT has entertained the Fleurieu with familiar covers, infectious energy and plenty of questionable dance moves, now serving up toe-tapping fun as a five-piece led by John Jaggard.

Jackie Guest & Terry Ford

Jackie and Terry are much-loved local musicians with over 30 years’ experience, bringing genuine warmth, musical talent and an easy rapport to every performance.

Jessie Lee O’Neill & Band

Jessie Lee O’Neill is a Cape Jervis-based folk artist whose soulful vocals and evocative storytelling blend piano accordion and rich acoustic textures to explore connection, place, womanhood and the landscapes that shape us.

Jim Griffin

Fleurieu musical gem Jim Griffin brings warmth, wit and grit to storytelling songs, including the occasional Tom Waits classic, while supporting the local music scene and performing with (Another) Home Grown Band.

John Duffy

A Fleurieu Folk Festival regular from the earliest days, John is a versatile musician known for his Neil Young interpretations and collaborations, including with Sally and the Poor Boys.

John Jaggard

John is a South Coast Folk Club favourite who has spent decades making music, leading singalongs with ’50s and ’60s rock ’n’ roll classics and driving local band HUT.

Journeying

Koko invites you to slow down and drift into deep relaxation through soothing sound bowls and a beautiful blend of instruments, creating a peaceful sound journey where you can simply be.

Jubal (Steve Eales)

Tamworth-born country/roots artist Steve Eales brings over two decades of experience, seven albums and 20+ radio hits to a powerful live sound blending earthy acoustic textures with driving country rock.

Kev Smith

Kevin’s musical journey began in 1970s southern England playing ’50s rockabilly and rock ’n’ roll, before moving to Australia and embracing bluegrass and skiffle on double bass and guitar.

Leo Beinke

The Narridy Creek musician brings guitar, harmonica and a lifetime of musical storytelling to his solo performances and the Beinke Brothers Band.

Margie Russell

Margie’s musical journey spans decades and genres, from Adelaide’s late- ’70s music scene to festivals and bands and now sharing the joy of music with her three sisters as The Russell Sisters.

Singer-songwriter and maritime enthusiast Pete draws inspiration from life at sea, colourful sailing characters and historic local shipwrecks including the Star of Greece and Nashwauk.

Peter Tolcher

Peter has been playing guitar and singing for many years both here in Australia and overseas in Ireland. Peter has played many pubs, open mic nights and music gatherings over the years.

Phil Kesby

Multi-instrumentalist Phil brings a lifetime passion for music to baritone ukulele, trumpet, Irish banjo, bodhrán and vocals, performing with Hit n Miss, local ensembles and at gigs across the Fleurieu.

Sally & The Poor Boys

Sally & the Poor Boys are seasoned musicians who finally joined forces three years ago, quickly becoming favourites at rural venues and festivals with Sally firmly at the helm on bass.

Sleepy Ghost

Sleepy Ghost blend guitar, drums, harmonica and vocals into folky alternative music, delivering mellow melancholia and bittersweet ballads from the South Coast to Adelaide’s foothills.

Sue Baker & The Sourdoughs
