Fleurieu Folk Festival 2025
Set in the picturesque town of Willunga on the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Fleurieu Folk Festival is South Australia's largest and friendliest folk music event. We present the best local, interstate and international musicians in a music celebration covering a broad range of genres, including traditional and contemporary folk, acoustic, Celtic, blues, Americana, roots, bluegrass and more! With workshops, sessions, dancers, blackboard concerts, musical theatre, poetry, spoken word and children’s entertainment, local food, wine and market stalls, there is truly something for everyone! And you will find music enthusiasts playing together in every niche and corner.
This year's festival will be a one-day festival event on 25th October 2025
Two significant external factors have required us to make this change for 2025:
Our major sponsor has paused their Grants program for 2025
Willunga Oval will be unavailable, with camping and venues not being allowed on the oval, and access will be restricted due to construction on the Oval
Throughout the year, however, we will be bringing you several smaller events in addition to the festival. Refer to "What's Happening" below:
Note that Performers for this year have been selected and will soon be announced. We will be featuring some of South Australia's top talent!

Fleurieu Folk Festival recognises and pays respect to the Kaurna People, who are the traditional owners of Willunga. We recognise their connection to land, waters and community and pay our respects to them, their cultures, and their Elders, past and present. The Willunga Basin is named after the Kaurna place name, Willangga, which is a traditional Kaurna cultural landscape rich with the history of the Kaurna Meyunna, the Kaurna People.
