FishDoku is designed as an offline-first puzzle game. This policy explains local game data, private iCloud progress sync, and the limited analytics or crash-diagnostic data sent to Firebase by default.
This policy applies to the FishDoku iPhone and iPad app and its public support website. FishDoku is developed and operated by JiYang Zeng. Apple services used for downloading the app and completing in-app purchases are also governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
FishDoku stores puzzle progress and gameplay state on your device, including completed puzzles, active puzzle positions, fish and X marks, elapsed time, hint usage, mistake counts, and completion records.
If iCloud is available for FishDoku, progress and gameplay statistics can sync automatically through your private iCloud database. Game settings remain on this device. iCloud sync is separate from Firebase analytics and crash diagnostics.
Apple provides iCloud storage and synchronization under its terms and privacy policy. FishDoku syncs completion records, scores, dated gameplay events, confirmed play time, and eligible unfinished boards. Puzzle answers, device settings, Firebase data, purchase receipts, and Full Ocean entitlements are excluded.
From version 1.2.0, FishDoku also stores a pearl wallet containing earned and purchased pearl amounts, stable source identifiers derived from verified Apple transactions, spending allocations, selected board-skin redemptions, and records used to prevent duplicate credit or spending.
When iCloud is available, the pearl wallet syncs through a separate zone in your private iCloud database. Synced wallet data can include pearl income and spending records, completion-derived reward facts, and limited Full Ocean entitlement evidence needed to calculate benefits. Complete purchase receipts, payment-card information, and Apple Account passwords are not stored in the wallet.
FishDoku uses Apple StoreKit to display, purchase, verify, and restore the Full Ocean non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple processes your Apple Account, payment method, billing, refunds, and transaction records.
FishDoku reads the product identifier and Apple-verified entitlement status needed to unlock purchased features. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card information or Apple Account password.
Applies from version 1.1.1. Each purchase attempt uses a new random token sent to Apple to associate that transaction.
From version 1.2.0, FishDoku also offers consumable pearl packs. After Apple verifies a pearl purchase, FishDoku credits the advertised quantity once and records a stable ledger source derived from the StoreKit environment and transaction identifier to prevent duplicate delivery. Pearls can be spent on eligible in-game hints and selected board skins.

When available, Game Center is optional. If you sign in, FishDoku sends your highest verified unique regular puzzle count and milestone achievement percentages to Apple. Apple displays rankings, achievements and player profiles according to your Game Center settings. Playing and saving do not require Game Center.
FishDoku keeps an account-scoped hash and submission high-water marks on this device to retry safely. These are separate from iCloud saves. FishDoku does not cache friends, avatars or profiles, or send Game Center identifiers, scores or puzzle identities to Firebase. Manage Game Center visibility and account choices in Apple settings; deleting FishDoku does not delete Apple’s Game Center records.
From version 1.2.0, FishDoku also submits the highest number of currently available board skins you own. Only the count is submitted; skin identifiers, acquisition methods, pearl balances, and wallet records are not sent to Game Center.

When you choose to share a Daily Challenge result, statistics, or an app recommendation, FishDoku creates an image on this device and opens the system share sheet. FishDoku does not automatically upload the image. The destination you select handles the shared image under its own policies. Sharing does not require access to your photo library.
If you choose Email Support, FishDoku opens your selected mail app with an editable draft. The draft may include the app version and operating-system version to help diagnose the issue.
Your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to send are processed by your email provider and received by us for support. Sending a support message is optional.
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are enabled by default when FishDoku launches. FishDoku does not provide separate in-app collection switches.
Firebase Analytics receives low-cardinality gameplay events such as the selected mode, board size, difficulty, action source, and bucketed duration, mistake, hint, or retry counts. Firebase may also process an app-instance or installation identifier and technical metadata under Google’s Firebase terms. FishDoku does not set an Analytics user ID.
Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash stack traces, app and operating-system versions, device model or state, and limited app context such as the last route, language, appearance, mode, board size, and difficulty.
FishDoku’s custom analytics events and crash context exclude puzzle layouts, answers, seeds, player input history, local save files, support-message text, email addresses, purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, Apple or Google account details, and local file paths.
Firebase Analytics also automatically measures app sessions and in-app purchase events, and derives approximate location from masked IP addresses. Purchase metadata may include product identifiers and prices. These SDK measurements are separate from FishDoku’s custom event fields; FishDoku disables automatic screen reporting and does not request location permission.
From version 1.1.1, FishDoku records confirmed purchase completions and Full Ocean unlocks with Firebase Analytics to understand the purchase and restoration experience. Custom event fields describe the action source, completion path, unlock method and StoreKit environment; they do not include transaction identifiers, receipts or Apple Account details. Firebase’s own automatic purchase measurements remain separate, as described above.
From version 1.2.0, Firebase Analytics automatic in-app purchase measurement can include consumable pearl purchases and metadata such as product identifiers, prices, and currencies. FishDoku does not add pearl ledger source identifiers, Apple transaction identifiers, receipts, or wallet balances to its custom analytics events.
Read Google Firebase privacy information
On-device information is used to run the game, save and restore progress, apply your settings, calculate completion records, enforce gameplay rules, and provide purchased benefits.
Analytics events are used to understand feature use and improve gameplay. Crash Reports are used to diagnose stability defects. Information you voluntarily send by email is used to answer your request and investigate defects. We do not use this information for advertising or build advertising profiles.
Google Firebase processes Analytics and Crashlytics data as a service provider. Apple processes App Store and StoreKit information under Apple’s policies. We do not sell personal information, include advertising, use IDFA or AdSupport, request App Tracking Transparency permission, or use Firebase data for cross-app tracking.
When you send support email, the mail service and network provider you choose process the message under their own policies. We may disclose information only when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or security issues, or establish and defend legal rights.
FishDoku’s public privacy and support pages are hosted on Google Sites. We do not add separate website analytics, advertising, forms, or tracking scripts. Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, cookies, and request logs when it provides the hosting service.
Deleting FishDoku removes its local data but does not necessarily remove previously synced iCloud data. You can manage iCloud storage in system Settings. We cannot recover private iCloud saves on your behalf. Switching iCloud accounts pauses sync and preserves local progress until the original account is available again.
Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user-data retention period reset when there is new user activity. These controls apply to data covered by Google Analytics retention settings; they do not apply to most standard aggregated reports. Crashlytics data is subject to its separate service retention rules. FishDoku does not provide in-app Analytics or Crash Reports switches; deleting FishDoku stops future app-originated collection from that installation. Apple controls purchase records and verified entitlements. You may contact us at the address below with privacy questions or requests.
Applies from version 1.1.1. The token, transaction fingerprints and records used to avoid duplicate counting stay on this device, are excluded from device backups and iCloud sync, and are not sent to Firebase. These records are removed when the app is deleted.
From version 1.2.0, pearl wallet records that have synced to your private iCloud database may remain there after you delete the app and can return when you reinstall with the same iCloud account. You can manage this data through iCloud settings; deleting or changing it may affect the ability to reconstruct balances and avoid duplicate delivery.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Google Firebase, Apple, and your chosen email provider may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their policies and applicable law.
FishDoku is a general-audience puzzle game and is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information in a support message, please contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
We may update this policy when FishDoku’s features, data practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will appear in the app with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.

These terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement and explain the rules for using FishDoku, Full Ocean, and consumable pearls.
By downloading, installing, or using FishDoku, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Apple terms that apply to apps distributed through the App Store. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
FishDoku is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use FishDoku on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by Apple’s Usage Rules.
The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a valid custom agreement replaces it. If these supplemental terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple’s Standard EULA, the controlling law or Apple term applies to that extent.
You may not use FishDoku unlawfully; interfere with the app, App Store, or other services; bypass access restrictions; exploit security defects; distribute malicious code; or infringe the rights of others.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from FishDoku except where applicable law expressly permits it.
FishDoku provides an offline logic-puzzle experience. Puzzle availability, rules, difficulty labels, hints, rewards, and other features may be adjusted in app updates.
Progress is saved locally and may sync through iCloud when available. Sync can be delayed by network, account, storage, or system conditions and is not a guarantee against data loss. Game settings stay local. Full Ocean purchases are restored through Apple StoreKit, independently of progress sync.
Game Center rankings and achievements reflect verified local progress and may be delayed or unavailable. They do not restore saves or grant Full Ocean access. This is an exploration leaderboard: each regular puzzle counts once, Daily Challenge is excluded, and Full Ocean players can access more regular puzzles.
Full Ocean is a non-consumable in-app purchase. In the current version it unlocks the complete FishDoku puzzle library included in that version and grants one additional hint allowance per puzzle. FishDoku is ad-free for both free and paid players.
The price and currency shown in Apple’s purchase sheet control. Apple processes payment, verification, refunds, and purchase restoration. A verified Full Ocean entitlement can be restored on devices using the Apple Account that made the purchase, subject to Apple’s services and policies.
Future updates may clarify or expand Full Ocean benefits. We will not intentionally remove a verified non-consumable entitlement merely because the product is no longer offered for new purchase.
Pearls are consumable in-game items that can be earned through gameplay or purchased in packs. They can be used for eligible extra hints and selected board skins. Pearls have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, transferred, or sold, and do not represent a bank account, deposit, or stored-value account.
Purchased pearl packs are not restored through Restore Purchases or regranted from purchase history. FishDoku may complete delivery of an Apple-verified unfinished transaction, and private iCloud wallet sync may restore previously recorded balance and spending state; neither process creates a second purchase credit.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for product, security, operational, or legal reasons. StoreKit and other Apple services may be unavailable due to network conditions, account state, maintenance, or causes outside our control.
We aim to keep FishDoku reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation.
FishDoku’s software, interface, text, name, puzzle collection, visual design, graphics, audio, and other original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you. Third-party names and services remain the property of their respective owners.
You may voluntarily send feedback or suggestions. You confirm that your submission does not contain unlawful or infringing material. We may use non-confidential ideas you provide to improve FishDoku without payment or obligation to implement them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FishDoku is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use FishDoku. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
We may revise these terms when features, operations, or legal requirements change. The updated terms will appear in the app with a new effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Your license ends if you materially violate these terms. You may stop using FishDoku at any time by deleting the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.
Applicable law, mandatory consumer protections, and the governing-law provisions of Apple’s Standard EULA apply. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be waived in your country or region.

FishDoku 1.2.0 supports iPhone and iPad. When reporting a problem, include your device model and iOS or iPadOS version.
Email syun0929@gmail.com with your app version, device model, and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment details, or private save files.
iCloud progress uses the iCloud account. Game Center uses the account shown in Game Center settings. Full Ocean is verified and restored by Apple StoreKit using the purchasing Apple Account. These services are independent; a Game Center score does not restore progress or purchases.
For delayed sync, check your network and iCloud availability, then return to FishDoku. An iCloud account change pauses sync to protect local progress. Use Restore Purchases for Full Ocean; do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step.
