Pairing It Down
Learn how to cultivate a creative classroom centered on partnerships. We'll explore a new method of seating, collaboration, and reliance on peers to strengthen interpersonal relationships, participation, and creativity. After building comfort in individual music-making practices, even students with social anxiety will find comfort in this innovative approach to teaching. Come ready to dance, pretend, play a variety of instruments, and collaborate as we change the stigmas around this music-making barrier. We’ll learn plenty of new songs and lessons while gaining skills that can easily be applied to your current lessons at school!
