Have you ever had to divide a candy bar with your brother or sister? Did you divide it equally or did you give yourself a little more? Do your parents make one child divide the candy bar and the other child gets first choice? It makes you keep the parts of the candy bar equal.

Genesis 13

Abraham and Lot were very different. Abraham was very kind and considerate of others. He always thought of others first. He even allowed Lot to choose which land he wanted and Abraham took the other.

Lot only thought about himself. Lot Followed his greed and took the land that looked much better. He and his family moved close to Sodom, He finally moved inside the city of Sodom that eventually was destroyed by God. The people of Sodom did not follow God. Lot could not say "no" to temptation.
