John 20:31 ...These are written So that you may believe That Jesus is the Christ, The Son of God...

Psalm 118:1 Oh give thanks to the LORD, For He is good...

We are memorizing and saying last week and this week's verses.

God Keeps HIs Promises

(Genesis 29-33) Jacob tricked Esau out of his birthright with a bowl of stew. Then Jacob and Rachel, his mother, tricked Esau out of his blessings from his father, Isaac. Esau was so mad that he threatened to kill his brother. Rachel seeing how angry Esau was sent Jacob away. So Jacob has everything but no family and no one to share his wealth with. Even though Jacob had tricked his brother, God sent Jacob a dream that promised to give Jacob the land that he was on. Jacob told God that if this came true, he would build and altar (place of worship) and return to the Lord one-tenth of everything God gave him.

In Hebrew 13, God promises that he will never leave you. He is with you always so we can pray to him whether we are sad, scared, happy or excited. God is always there to listen. God also promised that when we trust Jesus Christ as our Savior, we will live with him forever in heaven.

REMEMBER: We all do wrong things. We make promises that we don't keep. But God is perfect and every promise He has ever made is true. Have you trusted Christ as your Savior so that you can know that you'll live with Him in your heart and in heaven?
