During my observation in the 9th grade, I began researching the curriculum used in the English class. The curriculum implemented is the K to 12, which has the ultimate goal of producing graduates who can apply language conventions, principles, strategies, and skills in (1) interacting with others, (2) understanding and learning in other content areas, and (3) fending for themselves in whatever field of endeavor they may engage in.Â
After studying the curriculum in use, I began designing the lesson plan that I would implement during my practice teaching. However, due to my teaching practice overlapping with school activities and the ongoing topics being taught by Sir Bobby at that time, he suggested that I adopt the lesson plan he was using and use his PowerPoint while explaining the topic. I adopted the lesson plan from Sir Bobby and used it as a guide for teaching the topics I would cover during my practice teaching. By this way, he could continue the topic after my practice teaching.
