1928 - Grace Bagley was appointed as a Republican Delegate from Mass. to Kansas City convention
1928 - Grace Bagley helped inspire Governor Allen’s Public Welfare Program
1928 - Grace Bagley lost “bitter political struggle” to head up the Women’s Republican Club, she was considered “too political” by the opposition
1929 - Grace Bagley named as a member of a newly formed federal committee on education
1929 - Stock Market crashed, spurring the beginning of the Great Depression
