1924 - Grace Bagley testified before the US House of Representatives in support of the creation of a Department of Education. She served as chairman of a subcommittee on women’s organizations of the national committee for a Department of Education
1924 - Grace Bagley served as Chairman of the Council of Women and Children in Industry of the State Board of Labor and Industries, Massachusetts
1925 - Grace Bagley participated in a conference with President Coolidge, urging him to support the creation of Dept. of Education
1926 - Grace Bagley continued her work as vice chairman of the national committee for a department of education and was an advisor on education for the federation of Women’s Clubs
