Established in 1955 as an annex of Quezon City High School, Quirino High School became an independent institution in 1958, growing from 200 students and four mentors to 883 students and 20 faculty members. Located between Brgy. Amihan and Brgy. Duyan-Duyan in Quezon City, the school now serves over 3,000 students from various areas, including Brgy. Botocan, Krus na Ligas, UP Diliman, and even nearby towns like Montalban and San Mateo, Rizal. Catering primarily to middle and lower-middle-class families, many students walk to school to save on daily expenses. As a child-friendly institution, Quirino High School is committed to enhancing access, quality, and governance in basic education.
