FIELD STUDY 1&2
The field study is a step towards our journey of becoming the future teachers of the community. I am lost for what is in store for me in the future yet the experience this obsrvation has given to me is quite a fun ride. Honestly, I thought we needed to be serious everytime in becoming a teacher especiall we are a role model for the students. The whole lesson I learned through this experience is that Life doesn't stop teaching to us lifelong learners. This journey was a roller coaster of a ride yet I didn't need to be serious all the time. The students are looking for a role model that they can trust and not fear. The resolve I have created with this observation is that i wanted to be a teacher I needed when I was a student. A cliche statement but I think portraying what am I before is like teaching the lessons on how I wanted the lessons to be taught when i was a student myself. The students need a mentor, a parent and even a friend while being professional in my own way I know this is the type of teacher I want to be.
The field study experience was unforgettable. As I enter the Practice Teaching part of my career. I hope you guys could forgive me in the future for we all are life-long learners. The immature yet knowledgable current me who is going to teach my beloved students will always be a core memory. The three sections in the 9th grade department will always hold a place in my heart yet at my very best I want to teach you everythin I know the best way possible. I am an imperfect model that my students doesn't deserve but along the way I am building myself to become the educator that my students need. A teacher that I needed when I was a student myself. A mentor, A student, A friend and A supporter of the first students I ever taught.
