Function meets fashion in this latest collaborative project with LUCKY BRAND. Students are invited to design and create one-of-a-kind upcycled face covering from denim and cotton materials. This project is open to students enrolled in Spring 2020 or intend to enroll in Summer 2020.

If you are interested in circular fashion and promoting health and safety, this is the project for you! APPLICATIONS DUE: JUNE 3, 2020

Round 1: Face Off

• Design and sample an innovative face covering using denim, cotton rich, and upcycled materials

• Selected face coverings could be featured on Lucky Brand's social media channels

Round 2: Facing the Future

• Selected students redesign their innovative face covering into a marketable face covering for a defined market that exceeds consumers' expectations to present to Lucky Brand

Round 3: #LuckyTogether

• Selected students create a visual DIY version of their marketable face covering selected by Lucky Brand

• Selected students could be featured on Lucky Brand's social media channels

THE LUCKY TEXTILES

Research how textile waste is generated during the process of planning, designing, and developing a collection, by synthesizing this knowledge with creative ideation to create an upcycled product made of textile waste for a specific market to present to LUCKY BRAND.
