This Webquest is divided into five lessons and a final lesson with different activities. In some of those lessons you will be requested to send the answers to your teacher’s email.

Lesson 1
1) Revise the explanation for Conditional 0 on this presentation.
2) Solve the activities from this "Liveworksheet".

Lesson 2
1) Revise the explanation for Conditional 1 on this presentation.
2) Look up in Cambridge dictionary the following words: superstition/ beliefs/ weird/ associate/ unlucky/ religious/ folklore/ cling/ irrational.
3) Write down the meaning of the previous words and keep them with you for the following step.
4) Watch the following video and answer the following question:
+ What are the origins of the superstitions?
+ What are the explanations the video provides for the following superstitions?: whistling at the theater; lighting 3 cigarettes with the same match.
+ What's the logical explanation the video provides for why we can't resist following the superstitions?
+ Is there any superstitions mentioned that you, your family or your friends follow? Which one?
5) Ask your family and friends about the superstitions they know and write them down following the formula for conditionals 1. E.g: "If you open an umbrella inside the house, you will have bad luck".

Lesson 3
1) Revise the explanation for Conditional 2 on this presentation.
2) Listen and read the lyrics to this son called "If I had a million dollars" by Barenaked Ladies:
3) Write down as many "conditional 2" sentences that you can find.
4) Answer the following question: "what would you do if you had a million dollars?". Write at least 5 sentences following the conditional 2 formula to answer this question.

Lesson 4
1) Revise the explanation for Conditional 3 on this presentation.
2) Read the following problem:
Ballon debate: You are in a hot air balloon which is losing height rapidly and will soon crash because it is overweight. You are travelling with a group of school children who will grow up to be very famous. You have to decide which 7 to throw over the side; if the balloon crashes you will all die. The passengers are:
3) Look up the biographies of these passengers listed in the previous exercise on this page and write a brief list of the most important things that they have achieved.
4) Write a series of sentences following the conditional 3 structure to justify those passengers that should remain in the balloon. E.g: "If Charles Darwin hadn't discovered evolution, society wouldn't have discovered where we come from".

Lesson 5
1) Read the information about mixed conditionals.
2) Reorganize the words to make mixed conditionals in this game.
Final lesson
1) Put the verbs in the correct tense in this text depending on the type of conditional that the context requires.
2) Write your own text in which you will have to include one sentence of each type of conditionals you have studied. Topic: "has technology improved your learning process?"
