The Commanding Officer for school year 2025-2026, C/CDR Gavin Carlos was the previous Color Guard Commander, and having led his platoon to be active and disciplined, he led Phoenix Company to another great year of success and merit. Our Commanding Officer was not only involved in Phoenix Company, but heavily participated in his other extracurriculars and held leadership positions in many of them, such as the Co-Captain of the Cross Country team, member of the Paddling team, Chess Club member, competitor for the Chemistry Club, CEO and Project Manger for his Junior Achievement company and Alumni President of the Alumni Network, member of the National Honor Society, and his other community service activities. Additionally, he is a graduate of the 2024 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy at Camp Rilea, Oregon. Lastly C/CDR Carlos is the third recipient in the unit's history of the Medal of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement and 2026 winner of the Surface Navy Association Essay Contest.
The Executive Officer for the school year 2025 -2026, C/LCDR Alexander Quinat used his experience as the previous Armed Drill Team Commander to help him guide and teach cadets, while maintaining the staff officers and unit commanders into being capable leaders in their posts. Previous positions in Phoenix Company include, Armed Drill Team Commander, Rife Team Captain, Ordnance Officer, and Cyber Patriot Captain. The Executive Officer also participated in other organizations such as the FDMS Canoe Club, Japanese National Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Maneran Galaide. He was a Varsity Captain of the Paddling team and a graduate of the 2024 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy.
C/LT Landon Rosalin will be served as the Operations Officer for School year 2025-2026. His previous billets was as the First Platoon Commander, administrative and supply assistant. He was a Drone Captain as he is FAA 107 certified, leading cadets to be able to fly and control drones. With all of this, C/LT Rosalin served as the example of organization within the company, handling the internal and external affairs of Phoenix Company, leading us to another great year of success. Outside of NJROTC, the Operations Officer was a Varsity Captain for the FDMS Paddling Team, President of the FDMS Canoe Club, member of the National Honor Society, a paddler for Maneran Galaide, and an altar server for his parish. Lastly, he is a graduate of the 2025 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy at Camp Rilea, Oregon.
The Command Master Chief for school year 2025-2026, C/MCPO Savian Sablan served as the previous Unarmed Drill Team Assistant Commander, Cyber Patriot Captain and Drone Team Co-Captain, he guided, improved, and instructed the cadets of Phoenix Company to achieve great things. He not only had his leadership role as CMC, but he was also the Chess Club president. His other school activities include Father Duenas Volleyball Team Manager, Former Japanese National Honor Society Treasurer, National Honor Society Member, and Friars After-School Tutor.
C/ENS Andy Quinata Jr. served as the Administrative Officer for school year 2025-2026. Having been a previous Assistant Admin Officer, he managed the Phoenix company’s Admin department. As the Admin Department Head, he oversaw the records and documentation of the unit. C/ENS Quinata was a very active member of Phoenix Company, having served in the Color Guard, Physical Training Team, and community events. He also participated in a variety of extracurriculars such as Football, Wrestling, Rugby, and the National Honor Society. Lastly, he attended the 2025 NYLF (National Youth Leadership forum by Envision World Strides) in Virginia for National Security.
Presenting the Supply Officer, C/LTJG Jace Guerrero, for school year 2025-2026. He continued his post as the Supply Department Head after having served as it for the previous year. As the Department Head for Supply, he maintained the ordinance, uniforms, and equipment of Phoenix Company. Within the unit, he has served in the Color Guard, Unarmed Drill Team, CyberPatriot Team, and Marksmanship Team. Aside from his duties in NJROTC, the Supply Officer is a member of the National Honor Society, Paddling Team, Junior Achievement, and his service activities. Finally, C/LTJG Guerrero attended the 2025 Summer Seminar at the United States Naval Academy.
Meet the Honor Guard Commander, C/LTJG Ethan Donato for school year 2025-2026. He is continued his post as the Honor Guard Commander and used the experience he has to maintain the excellence of the Honor Guard. C/LTJG Donato was a member of the Color Guard, CyberPartiot Team, and was the Captain of the Academic Team. Outside of NJROTC, he was a member and holds leadership positions in some of his extracurriculars such as the Paddling Team, Japanese National Honor Society, National Honor Society, Fil-Am Club, and Junior Achievement. The Honor Guard Commander was also a graduate of the 2025 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy in Camp Rilea, Oregon.
Introducing the Training Officer for school year 2025-2026, C/LTJG Eduardo Calvo. He was the previous Training Officer for school year 2024-2025 and used the experience he learned to instruct the cadets of Phoenix Company what is needed to maintain the legacy of the unit. C/LTJG Calvo was also a previous CyberPatriot Captain, earning Phoenix Company honors. Not only was he active within the unit, he was involved within the clubs of Father Duenas, which includes Cross Country, Track and Field, National Honor Society, and other community events. Lastly, he was a graduate of the 2024 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy, and a Graduate Assistant for the 2025 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy at Camp Rilea, Oregon.
C/LTJG Jerome Camacho served as the Public Affairs Officer of Phoenix Company, handing the unit's social media, and the relationships of organization the unit has partnered with. Previously, he was the Assistant Commander and Mustering Petty Officer for the Color Guard, actively helping the team in its training and events. His experience in Public Affairs include his intensive instruction in digital design and photography in the FDMS Yearbook/Journalism class, marketing for the 2024-2025 yearbook as well as its creation for FDMS. Aside from his duties in Phoenix Company, the Public Affairs Officer was the president of the FD-180 Agricultural and Environmental Club, a singer for the Famagu'on Yu'us Choir, a member of the CHamoru Heritage Club as well as a graduate of Saina Vincent Reyes's Uritao Academy, a member of the Ethics Club plus a graduate of the UOG Knowledge for Freedom program, a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the FDMS Paddling Team.
The Color Guard Commander for the school year 2025-2026, C/ENS Kaeden Sablan, served in Color Guard for the past two years and served as the Mustering Petty Officer under his Commanding Officer, C/ENS Sablan maintained the prestige and discipline of Phoenix Company Color Guard. C/ENS Sablan was an active member of Phoenix Company and also in his school extracurriculars, while maintaining his high academics. Some of his extracurriculars include Cross Country, Track and Field, and Chess. Finally, he was a graduate of the 2025 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy in Camp Rilea, Oregon.
The Unarmed Drill Team Commander for the school year 2025-2026, C/ENS Ramir Javelosa, having been the former Unarmed MPO, he used the leadership skills and experience he has learned to teach and prepare his cadets for future events. Outside of NJROTC, the Unarmed Drill Team Commander has participated in many activities in FD, such as the National Honor Society, Japanese National Honor Society, Tennis, and Track and Field. Outside of FD, C/ENS Javelosa was an active Altar Server for the Saint Anthony Saint Victor Church in Tamuning, and has been a long serving Choir Member since 2016. He was also a graduate of the 2025 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy in Camp Rilea, Oregon.
C/ENS Levi Denton served as the 2025-2026 Armed Drill Team Commander. Having been the previous Mustering Petty Officer under the Executive Officer, he led the Armed Drill Team to another year of excellence. He was the Marksmanship Captain too, training the cadets to be knowledgeable in proper rifle care and safety. Aside from his activites within the unit, he played for the Rugby Team and was a member of the Japanese National Honor Society.
The First Platoon Commander for the school year 2025 - 2026 was C/LTJG Max Mafnas. C/LTJG Mafnas as the Assistant Commander of the Armed Drill Team which prepared him to instruct cadets into the NJROTC program and prepare them to take on leadership roles within the unit. The First Platoon Commander was a member of the Armed Drill Team, CyberPatriot Team, and Physical Training Team. Aside from NJROTC, he played Football, Wrestling, and Rugby, while also being a member of the National Honor Society, and Famagu’on Yu’us Choir. Lastly, C/LTJG Mafnas was a graduate of the 2024 Area 23 Northwest Leadership Academy at Camp Rilea, Oregon.
Presenting the Second Platoon Commander for school year 2025-2026, C/LTJG Santino Rabago. Previously, he was the assistant commander of the Operations Officer for school year 2024-2025 which prepared him well for the role in introducing and teaching cadets of a new way of life, the Navy life. C/LTJG was quite active within Phoenix Company as he was part of the Armed Drill Team and also assists in the service events of Phoenix Company. Outside of NJROTC, C/LTJG Rabago was a member of the Paddling Team.
