Housing: Housing that is affordable for all citizens in our communities must be a priority. All levels of government must work together to implement solutions

Public Safety: Police services is a regional service. However, investing in solutions that support providing more resources to community based services such as mental health support; housing and homelessness initiatives; additions support is something all levels of government need to support. It will take collaboration and cooperation with councils, agencies and residents to make a difference.

Indigenous Sovereignty: Truth and reconciliation is a journey we all must travel together. I agree that tangible activities need to occur. Its important that we listen, learn and create together the path forward. Opportunities for consultation and inclusion are important and must be part of our processes.

Transportation: Safety measures supporting the needs of walkers, cyclists, and drivers through out our community is paramount. These solutions need to consider our seasons, affordability and ease to implement now and into the future.

Other: Its been an honour and a privilege to represent Ward 1 these past for years - thank you Ward 1 residents. During my first term, I could see my contribution making a difference. Together we established a team dedicated to indigenous initiatives, anti-racism, and equity; declared a climate emergency; created safer streets and focused on economic growth. Second term, I want to be part of the important work advancing these initiatives.
