Learn to Play American Mahjong in Cape May County!

American Mahjong is a lively, four-player tile game combining skill, strategy, and a touch of luck. Players build specific hands using numbered and symbol tiles, jokers, and flowers, guided by the yearly National Mah Jongg League card. It’s social, challenging, and endlessly fun — a perfect blend of focus, friendship, and friendly competition.  

Have you ever wanted to learn the timeless game of American Mahjong? Now’s your chance! Whether you’re brand new to the tiles or just curious about how to play, fun and friendly lessons are available right here in Cape May County.

During these sessions, you’ll:

1. Learn the rules and flow of the game step by step

2. Practice building hands with confidence

3. Discover tips and strategies to help you play like a pro

4. Enjoy a welcoming, social atmosphere with plenty of laughter along the way  

5. Fee/donation: $25.00 — and here’s the best part: $20.00 of every fee will be donated to support our Veterans.
