POTION RECIPES
Potion Duration: 30 minutes per full bottle. Reduce/Increase dosage to adjust duration.
WARNING: Using potions in unintended ways may result in unexpected effects, including but not limited to: shortened duration, potion failure, lingering effects, etc.
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
All potions during this campaign use the same cooking times. You can make up to 5 potions during a single rest session. (This can be 5 unique potions or 5 of the same kind.) This uses up all your potion making time allotted to you during a rest. If you skip your rest session (choosing not to take any health boosts, etc.) you can make up to 15 potions.
Outside of a rest session, you can attempt to make a potion using a hastily made cooking setup. While protected by a companion, you can make 1 potion per hour. (If you are making a potion Combo using pre-made potions it takes 15 minutes.)
If unprotected by a companion, it takes the same amount of time, but you must roll a DC 18 CON saving throw to successfully make the potion while avoiding attacks/potion contamination/or other interruptions.
BASIC POTION RULES:
Every potion recipe uses at least three ingredients: A STABILIZER, an ACTIVATOR, and one more. Activators give potions magical effectiveness. Stabilizers ensure the effects work properly and for the correct duration. The last ingredients added create the different potion effects. If you find that the recipe is particularly hard to swallow, inactive flavor enhancers are suggested at the end of the ingredient encyclopedia.
Ingredient Potency is marked by color, yellow being mild, green being effective, red being especially potent. The recipe will let you know what strength of potency is required to create the desired effect. If you do not have right amount of the correct potency, you can double or triple a less potent ingredient to make up for it.

BACKSTORY
I was raised by Mirav the wizard. Mirav lived in an ancient jungle temple and bought me from a band of marauders that kidnapped me from my tribe in China as a young centaur. Mirav used me as a servant and trained me as an apprentice wizard, but he kept secrets from me, so most of my knowledge is based on potions. When Mirav was defeated, I took over the jungle temple, expelled the evil friends of Mirav, and it is now my home. I am still discovering Mirav's old texts and other minor trinkets, most of which I don't yet know how to use.
