GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE POSTER PROJECT

Using only Earth Global Climate Passport notes and the provided graphs, your group will create an informational climate change poster.

OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of your group poster is to provide information about climate change including:

  • Natural and human causes of climate change

  • Indicators of climate change

  • Hazards of climate change

  • Strategies for adaptation to and/or reduction of climate change

POSTER REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Graphs with captions explaining what the trend means.

  2. Specific examples from your 8th meridian tour.

SCORING:

  • Information is scientifically accurate.

  • Claims are supported by evidence.

  • Cause and effect relationships demonstrate scientific reasoning.

  • Adaptation/Mitigation strategies are supported by scientific principles.

  • Graph captions are complete, correct, and clear.

  • Examples are relevant to topic.
